Loooool people still running this theory don’t know shit I swear. We have no money to spend....what do you expect him to demand? If the management expect him to win the scudetto with no money left to spend then he has no choice but to ask for old experienced players, not to mention that in our case we need a few as it is anyways to complement the younger core. Don’t know how many times people need to hear this to understand it: we are the UNDERDOGS heading into the season, Juve still have the much better squad. We had a chance to close the gap big time with 3 massive signings and Suning pulled out because he has no money left. End of discussion

did Conte win his first scudo with the best squad in the league?
did he win his sole EPL with Chelsea with the best squad in the league?

Why are we paying conte 3x the next coach in the league, if we also need to compile the best squad in the league to be able to win?

I 100% disagree that our squad has to be "best squad" (in name, not performances) in the league when we have the best manager, by far, in the league.

Where did I say we don’t have a chance? We’ll be in the race I’m sure of it, but there’s people out there who just because Rube have a rookie coach means we’ve won the league before a ball’s been kicked. We have the best chance heading into a season we’ve had in 9 years, no doubt about it, but boy oh boy it’s gonna be hard.

Here’s another important point people fail to understand. For us to win the league, we have to be so much better than everyone else and Conte’s realized that after last season. What do I mean by that? 2010, best team we’ve had since the 60’s right? Guess what? They almost cost us that league, people think it’s whining and moaning about decisions but it’s freaking true. You think this team can beat Milan with 9 men? No chance, you think this team can draw a game playing with 9 men for 60mins like against Samp? No chance. We have to be that much better than everyone else, and that was when we weren’t even competing with Rube for the title. You know the last time we beat Rube for the title......1980!!! We should have won it in 98...and we all know what happened. Same with 02 although that was more our fault.

This is not the complete truth as you miss that the competition wasn't at top form in both of his titles with aJubentus and Chelsea.
On other side despite Sarri, Jubentus was still very solid at Seria A last season. Their downfall started when they've already won the scudetto.
