This seems like a good deal for everyone. Make it happen! And then I hope Sanchez scores the winner against Man Utd in the EL final.

Report: Permanent move for Sanchez
By Football Italia staff

Inter have, according to the Corriere della Sera, come to an agreement with Manchester United and the announcement of a deal for Alexis Sanchez should come after the Europa League match against Getafe.

The newspaper claims sporting director Beppe Marotta has eventually reached an agreement with the Red Devils and will announce a €15m deal for the Chile international after the match on Wednesday.

La Gazzetta dello Sport adds that Sanchez has agreed to spread his huge salary of €15m over a three-year contract, until June 2023.

The former Udinese winger arrived on loan last summer and has contributed four goals and nine assists in his 22 Serie A matches.

He missed a large chunk of the season due to a tendon injury but has convinced the Nerazzurri since the resumption in June.

Delete, already posted.

Looks like resolution is almost there. Wages spread over 3 years.

Corriere della Sera aren't exactly one of the most reliable sources so take it with a grain of salt.

The guy was injured for most of the season yet managed 4 goals and 9 assists. Hopefully he continues like that and doesn't return to being Sanchez of Man U.

what would be ideal for us, but tbh I cant see United doing, is an extra loan for a year to see how he performs. It'd justify potentially a higher fee if he sustained.

What about GdS? I used to check them for Serie A wages, they post for every player that one.

Hit and miss. From all the Italian newspapers they're the most reliable but it doesn't say much as Italian newspapers usually report bs. GdS articles on wages are pretty accurate. They're my source for players wages as well.

The best Italian site, when it comes to football, is calcioefinanza. But their scope is limited to financial aspects, as their name suggests, and they do more analysis than predictions.

Sky Italia/Di Marzio (same group) and gazzetta have, ON AVERAGE, more and better sources than others. Which certainly doesn't mean they are always right, or that the others are always wrong if they contradict them.

If anything, I feel that they don't always tell the stories the way they should, on occasions they use their power to orientate the view of the readers.

calciomercato also does a good job overall, but they currently can't compete with the two mentioned above.

And maybe I'm missing someone I can't think of at the moment.

Plus Alfredo Pedulla who recently started working for GdS btw.

Not sure it means anything about his future but he's included in Europa League list.

We caved in apparently if we're willing to pay 15m€ immediately. Good compromise would have been obligation to buy for 15m€ next summer or like 10m€ now. United had the leverage of us playing in EL still. Let's see if they are even paying anything to Sanchez and what his salary will end up being at Inter. Did we not use any of our leverage in this deal? If United pays small fee to Sanchez and thus we end up paying him almost the full salary, that would suck.

Like Dino said, I'm just glad we aren't dragging this to save 2-3 million. This is growth for Marotta. Sanchez for 15m is a good deal, specially if we have managed to get Sanchez to take a 33% cut on his net wages as the reports suggest.

Inter confirm Europa League squad
By Football Italia staff

Inter have announced the squad for the remainder of the Europa League season with Alexis Sanchez confirmed for the tournament.

The Nerazzurri have reportedly reached an agreement with Manchester United for the Chilean to move on a permanent deal this summer.

And Sanchez has been given the go ahead to play in the remainder of the Europa League season but Matias Vecino misses out due to a knee injury.

Inter prepare to face Getafe on Wednesday, fighting for a place in the Europa League Final Eight in Germany this month.

Inter’s official Europa League squad for August 2020:

Squad: Handanovic, Padelli; Godin, De Vrij, Ranocchia, Young, D’Ambrosio, Biraghi, Skriniar, Bastoni, Moses; Agoume, Gagliardini, Sensi, Borja Valero, Barella, Eriksen, Brozovic, Candreva; Sanchez, Lukaku, Martinez

Still elite. 15m is a no brainer.
