Fiorentina worst run since 1938

Fiorentina were pegged back in stoppages by Atalanta, extending their Serie A winless streak to 18 rounds, their worst since 1938.

The Viola had been 2-0 up against Atalanta this evening with goals from Federico Chiesa and Franck Ribery, but Josip Ilicic and Timothy Castagne completed the comeback.

It not only leaves Fiorentina bottom of the Serie A table and still without a win this season, but they also go 18 rounds without victory.

This is their worst top flight run since 21 games in 1937-38.

The Tuscans have not won in Serie A since a 4-1 success away to SPAL on February 17.

Only watched their game against Juventus and I don't understand it. They were far better in that match.
