Punishments for Cagliari? That would be a start, followed by yourselves being sanctioned too. Imagine actually trying to justify OPPOSITION FANS CHANTING RACIST ABUSE.

Could we make up a chant or noise that taunts and mocks ultras? Something to do with low IQ, you know really personal and something they can’t help, and we all know idiots love to be reminded how dumb they are. Then we release a statement to say that we only do it because we respect them.

See if they take what they’re giving out.

If they're ignorant enough to put out a statement like that which the club doesn't immediately distance itself from, I'm well within my rights to think what I like. Italian football has no interest in racism, they don't consider it a real thing. They don't punish any club for it, so I do consider it to just be a community issue, yes.

A couple of games behind doors is a big punishment. For the ultras, that means missing 10% of Inter games. But more importantly for Inter, that means about 8m of revenue loss.

If such punishments are handed out consistently, then the clubs and the League will take serious action against the offenders. They will focus on identifying and banning these racists for life. This is a cultural epidemic and cannot be stamped out in a day. But it can be greatly reduced if the clubs take serious action to protect their revenues, instead of useless statements and symbolic gestures like BUU.

Also, lets not pretend racism has been stamped out in our country (the UK). Its still a big problem here and growing worse, though maybe still not as big as Italy. It really annoys me when people/media here (the UK) point fingers at other countries for racism like thats not something we are struggling with.

Veratti, who is italian himself, stated that both teams should just walk off the pitch and the game should be stopped when something like this occurs. Clearly whatever 'cultural' argument some here are making isn't convincing Veratti.

I really love his humble attitude. You can see it in everything. Even in question about his favorite music, his answer is more deep anyone would expect. You respect some footballers for their quality on the pitch, but I respect Lukaku as a person. Wish him to get well with inter, because I'm sick of selfish Icardesque type of players.
