I recommend public flogging. Double the punishment for Politano.

Kind of both. Our midfielders, bar Brozovic, are really poor and Spalletti doesn't help with his choices. I don't really blame him for tonight though. Apart from our dismal midfield we were out of wingers as well. I was totally expecting the result.

I think the tam got complacent and the coach got defensive since your third place seemed all but a formality and I legit expect this loss to wake you up. You guys need to get 9 points off the next three matches or this loss will be for nothing. Worse part is if you somehow miraculously fail to qualify for CL you're gona lose Icardi which is bad for serie A. I wouldn't mind that if it was Napoli but I'd rather serie A keep their stars.

Another observation, it's not like Torino played a great game, they were the poster team for a average team playing average. Perisic's inability to play football anymore is baffling and he's only 29.

Yeah but we can't fire all 23 players, as unfair as that is. Once you lose the dressing room it's over, and that's looking like a likely explanation for recent performances. I'm still saying we should keep him till summer.

Right now it's either Conte (we don't have the players for him) or a burnt-out Mourinho. So yeah, not advocating any rash decisions here.

I mean, Perisic didn't play. Not sure what game you watched, unless you're talking about Nainggolan.

How is it not the coach? I’m dying to hear this. A coach is meant to so many things but one of the most important ones is he’s meant to motivate these guys he’s meant to bring out the best in these guys and not even a glimmer of hope

Naingolan didn't start either, I was speaking about Perisic tgis season and if he was playing like last year or the WC I think that solves a lot of your problems.

Another season and the same shit. Something is wrong with the core of this team. Mentally.

It’s not just the coach. How many coaches have we had now that have had the same problems with Inter? We have ruined and derailed coaches careers. We have done the same to players. The only constant is Inter and the mentality we cannot seem to flush out of the squad. Now today even Skriniar is starting to look like he doesn’t know what to do and he is the most mentally strong player we have.

At this point I don’t know what else we can do besides a overhaul in the summer. God help us stay in the CL spots, but if I’m being honest unless we miraculously sign a midfielder and good Perisic replacement in the next 4-5 days we are out IMO. Team is broken. We can’t score and we can’t win a midfield battle no matter who we play against. Perisic has seen this movie before, no wonder he wants out.

Our captain is the perfect embodiment of this team. Scores goals and looks good when things are going well. But as soon as things turn to shit he’s no where to be found on the pitch and meanwhile in the media his wife is threatening the club for a pay raise. No true leadership, just a goal scorer who requires the entire team be setup to get the best out of him. At this point I’m not sure that he justifies the burden he puts on this team with his lack of all round play. We look more dangerous with Keita - Lautaro than Perisic - Icardi and I'd be willing to bet there’s probably some stats to back that up.

I also would like to say a word on Handanovic. This guy is a problem. I understand that he makes some miraculous saves from time to time but his mentality is a detriment to the squad. He has been a big figure in this team during the “banter era” and while some think he has been a savior at times I think that he is equally culpable. I don’t think he is a bad goalkeeper but he is bad for this Inter team. Another player who capitulates as soon as the tide turns.

The only players I would sell at no costs in this team are De Vrij, Skriniar, and Lautaro. And to be honest if we don’t do something these guys will soon be added to the list. Whatever’s affecting this team is contagious and we need to cut out the cancer or we will continue to see the same shit every season.

This was one of our worse performances if not the worst!

Spalletti is partially at blame here but sadly, I don't think firing him is wise at the moment. Yes, he's had some bad calls but he's been our best coach since the treble season.

If he's lost the dressing room and we have to fire him, I prefer to do it in summer and bring in an upgrade; not an amateur coach who will surely get fired right after.

Our biggest problem is not Spalletti but our players. Nainggolan, JM, Vecino, Gagliardini, Dalbert, Valero and DDA are just mediocre players. This is a shit team so I don't get why some of you are surprised by the shit performances.

Even fucking Milan has a better team than us and if they had a better coach they would surely be above us in the table. Our directors need to STFU, do their jobs and stop using FFP as an excuse everytime they make a bad call.

You might disagree, but looking at this team from the start of the season, it's obvious that our weakest area is the midfield, yet we are linked to no midfielders expect Barella and that' going to be in the summer if ever happens.

WE NEED A BETTER FUCKING MIDFIELDER!! Even my grandma would realize that! Spalletti is no magician; what do you expect him to do with likes of Vecino, Mario and Dalbert?!

This game was screaming for Kovacic and Rafinha.... One to bring the ball forward and another to make an incisive forward pass in the final 3rd.

Who need those, when you can trust the genius Spalleti. Give me Vecino and Naingolan all day!
