Nainggolan returns to training; race against time for Barcelona game

It is no secret that Radja Nainggolan is a very important player for Inter, and thus club is doing its best to have him back in time for the clash with Barcelona.

As reported by Sky Italia, the Belgian returned to training yesterday, where he started to run again. As of now, there's a 50% chance that he will be available for the game against Barcelona next Tuesday. The days are not many, but Nainggolan will try his best.

Fairly hopeful he'll get 60 mins against Barca to then be substituted by everybody's favourite grandad.

If he isn’t going to be 100%, is he worth risking?

Nainggolan back for Barcelona?
By Football Italia staff

Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan is reportedly close to a return, and could be in the squad to face Barcelona.

The Belgian was forced off with an ankle injury in the Derby della Madonnina against Milan, and was forced to miss the trip to Camp Nou as well as the Lazio game on Monday night.

According to Sky, Nainggolan is recovering well and is very close to being able to make a return.

The Nerazzurri won’t risk him against Genoa this weekend, but it’s thought he could very well be included to face Barça.

Blaugrana superstar Lionel Messi also returned to training this week, and has an outside chance of being ready for San Siro.

If he's ready then let's give him an hour at least against Barca and see if he can give them some problems. I'm sure there's more than a few Barca players that won't be too happy to be against him again.

He has finally recovered. Could come in as a sub tomorrow and will definitely play next week against Barca. Really good news, we need him for two remaining matches before the national games break.

Played all of 8 minutes and did more than Genoa's entire attack.
