Not the best choice, but we do lack that kind of player, we need somebody behind Icardi, I do not believe Nainggolan is enough.

My first reaction was "Hell No" but then I thought about candreva being a stater again........ yes, I'll take him...... we are still lacking a creative player. All the new players are great signings but I don't think it'll be enough.

Yeah plus one thing he brings as well is ridiculous free kicks and set piece delivery, something we’ve been lacking since the days of Sneijder

If the price is right (around 20m), this is a no-brainer. Payet was awesome for West Ham, and from the little I have seen of him at Marseille & France, looks like he is still playing at that level. With a player like Payet, we can add 10 more goals to Icardi's tally, this guy creates loads. We are talking about a player who will give us 8-10 goals and 10-15 assists consistently a season. On top of that, he will create other goals too. Malcom is a risky buy, Payet is as close to a guarantee as you can get. He is 31, so we are talking about 2-3 seasons at best. Hopefully by then Karamoh or Politano can gradually take over.

That said, I don't see him leaving Marseille.

Yeah I thought he would slow down after leaving West Ham but from what I seen in the Europa League he was class for Marseille and when he got injured in the final after just 10mins they crumbled without him.

From 21-year-old Malcom to 31-year-old Payet. I'd say that would require us getting rid of Candreva to make any sense of this move. Also I've understood Payet is LW so not exactly a player we need. Having either Payet or Perisic on the bench is not optimal.

Payet is mainly an AM, but can also play on the left or right. I guess at Inter the RW spot makes sense. I have seen him play at the right, and this guy can really cross. Great free kicks too.

But what I would really like to see (maybe in some CL games) is a 3 man midfield of Payet and Nainggolan playing ahead of a holding Dembele. That could be a world class midfield a few teams in the world could match.

But this is wishful thinking. I can't see Payet leaving Marseille.

I would say he’s much more risky from Malcom.

I think he did stop training 2 or 3 times in his career because he wanted transfer. What will happen if he doesn’t fit in, have language problems and become homesick? I don’t wanna play with that shit, guy is mentally unstable.

He was icon in West Ham and stabbed them in the back without hesitation.

Edit: I would accept him at two conditions

1. Free transfer
2. Loan with option of another loan

Thought Payet wanted to go back to france and thats why he left WH. Dont know why he s desire to be in france should have changed in 1.5 years.
