Banega as some sort of mentor, if sponara turns out to be half the player he is expected to be then banega's wages will be worth it

Banega: "Now, when that car rolls because you didn't put the handbrake on, don't leave your foot in its path."

Inter didn't still give in Lassana Diarra. According to Johnny Séverin, a BeIN Sport journalist, the French midfielder won't remain at Olympique Marseille. He rejected a bid from Spartak Moscow and is considering offers from Inter, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Ausilio meet with Saponara agent, he want to reduse his price (15m) by adding Ranocchia in the deal!

8-10m + Ranocchia will be great deal!

Empoli president says there's been no contact with Inter for Sapanora.

You know presidents and and club executives tend to deny everything.

Just said this in the pjaca thread, but I'll say it again. All these rumors, berardi, saponara, Jesus, pjaca, candreva, tore, garay, etc etc, are media driven stories with little fact behind them. Are we interested in most of them? I would think so. But is there actual negotiations on going? Probably not to the extent that were lead to believe. So we all need to take a chill pill and let the mercato play out, or we'll all be sorely disappointed come the start of next season.

I rememer when we signed Shaqiri it turned out we were talking with him for like 2-3 years. Wouldn't be surprised if most of these rumors come from these type of talks.

Erik thohir confirmed our interest in Berardi and candreva. So those two I'm sure we tried.

Tonny Vilhena explains why he opted to stay at Feyenoord - “at Inter I’d have to fight for a place”.

The 21-year-old midfielder was heavily linked with a move to the Nerazzurri, but ultimately decided to stay in the Netherlands.

“At Inter I’d have to fight for a place and who knows how many games I’d play?” Vilhena pointed out in an interview with Algemeen Dagblad.

“There wasn’t a concrete plan for me. When you’re young you have to play, and the club needs to have a project for you. If not, you can’t do anything.”

Another factor was Vilhena’s mother, who had some health issues.

“We talked about it several times and I could see that she wasn’t convinced. She didn’t like the fact that I’d be going away, I could see the doubt.

“That made me think, because I love my Mum.

“So, three weeks before Feyenoord’s pre-season training started again, I told my Dad I’d be staying at Feyenoord.”

I'm largely against signing vaguely talented youths, mainly due to our own incompetence. I don't care that we haven't signed him - I hadn't even heard of him before I read about him here. But I think there's an element of truth to what he says. At his age, he, and all other kids should be playing every game to develop. At inter, there's practically no chance of that happening, especially if there's not some greater plan for him (which there won't be).

Mario doesn't impress me. He comes across as completely average in every facet of the game. Would much prefer Adrien Silva if we're going shopping in Portugal.

Inter on Teixeira and Joao Mario

Inter are moving in the transfer market, and as confirmed by Calciomercato.com, after finding the deal with Gabriel Jesus for the next January, the Nerazzurri are focusing on other targets

JOAO MARIO-The objective. Although on the track is always Axel Witsel and is still important given the dense negotiations that are ongoing between Inter and Zenit St. Petersburg, the sporting director Piero Ausilio is probing the ground for other prospects. The most important as reported by Corriere dello Sport is that of Joao Mario the attacking midfielder of Portugal National Team and Sporting Lisbon. The player has long been observed by Ausilio who recently requested information from the Portuguese club. The buy-out clause is 60 million euros and the competition from PSG complicates the deal.

ALEX TEIXEIRA-Back in the game. It is coming back into fashion the name of Alex Teixeira. The Brazilian playmaker of Jiangsu Suning is being proposed by his intermediaries to the Nerazzurri. Last week, the entourage of the player was in Milan and met Ausilio to convince him seeing the benefits of this deal .He is a non-eu player , but since there is the delayed agreement for Gabriel Jesus, buying Teixeira would not affect the arrival (through a friendly club or even on June 2017)of the star of Palmeiras.

The intermediary, who was overseeing the proposed move of Belgian midfielder Axel Witsel to Napoli, has told Radio Crc that the player will not be heading to the San Paolo this summer.

Francesco Marseglia told the station that; “The boy is distant from Napoli, that business has vanished as the offer has been rejected”, adding that; “Everton can offer him a salary in excess of €4 million net a season and this seems his more likely destination”.

He continued; “If you look at the economic situation then Everton is the right move but for a career move I would choose Napoli every time even putting aside the Champions League. Everton does not seem to be a great team and if it were my son, I would not have any doubts were I would want him to go. Witsel will still wait a little longer in case a bigger club shows interest”.

Getting players from a league where they have zero competition (even in their own squad) is a bad idea for us. Would rather buy a good player from a relegation side from the big leagues than some player from a shitty league.

Another box to box midfielder could mean Brozovic out. With Brozovic in, let alone Banega and Kondogbia, it's redundant. We need another DM (to be clear that doesn't mean we should sign Biglia for 30 million). I don't want to see any of our midfielders being wasted out of position in the holding role or Medel retaining his starting berth.
