Had a cat when I was a kid.
I want to get a dog now, but randomly see a pet store: give me 10 billion dollars for this puppy. fuckthat.jpg i'm going to adopt an ugly abused motherfucker and save his life.
check adopting sites: give us some money too
I have no friends with pups or dogs that aren't neutered. I have money, but buying a dog seems strange to me.
Back to childhood, we used to take care of the street dogs, go underneath buildings still in construction where they'd give birth and feed the mother and the puppies, and when the pups came of a certain age when they didn't need their mother, take them home and still take care of their mother.
:depress:
Paying for the animal shelter to take a dog of them allows them to bring in more dogs off the streets. I'm not sure what it's like over here but where I live they can't accept any more stray animals and can barely afford to keep euthanizing them, let alone take in more. Go get a rescue dog if the money isn't the issue.
I understand the money issue, but I think no one should make a profit selling domesticated pets. There should be government funds made available to the adopting companies (if they don't get money from the gov to begin with). Besides, here in Canada at least, adopt a 10+ year old pet, you pay around $200. Adopt anything younger than 3, especially puppies, they ask for over 400

You can be around them still wearing a moonwalker suit
it is bearable after drinking. Maybe i should just be drunk 100% of the time and get a cat
I have had much more time lately with my parents dog which soon will be 10 years old. The conclusion is that time flies away too fast as it feels like it was yesterday I met this wonderful being the first time.
