If that Croatian report is right and Kova was indeed sad for leaving Inter then it might be that Inter forced him out?
This says more about our fucked up coach, team, and management than it does about Kovacic's quality.
I just came here to give my 2 cents about all this & after that I'll never be in this thread again: :work:
First & foremost, fuck a Kovacic man...
Dear admins, please remove the "legend" & "Icon" options in future polls cuz bitches ain't loyal these days. Nobody comes here to stay anymore.
That being said, I want to congratulate Kovacic NOT for joining Real, but for joining either Chelsea/PSG/City in one year time, after Rafa is fired cuz he failed to meet the management's expectations (which is nothing less than La Liga win) & the new coach they hire wants to clean the house a bit, & rearrange the squad to his own liking.
Where the fuck does this young kid wanna play, seriously? They wanna bench James or Kroos, huh? Ever thought about that, Mateo? It's too big of a step for you, kid.
It's like Universe who drives a VW Polo being offered a Lamborghini which he of course accepts, without thinking he doesn't have a house with a proper garage to park it. Can't leave that shit at night on the open, gay Korean streets, god damn.
Anyways, I said my piece. Fuck a Kovacic & fuck all y'alls too. I hate all of yous & this circus of a club y'alls support.
Can't believe there are people saying "he couldn't perform as expected" "35 mill was a good fee for Inter right now". For christ sake, how are we going to qualify for Champions League without him? Stuck with a Brozovic, Medel, Guarin, Hernanes midfield, our future is set in midtable mediocrity. The only bright spot is an (inconsistent) Kondogbia, but our midfield lacks balance and it'll be hard for him not to be crushed by the pressure. With how much we paid for him, he's going to have to really pull it out in a very different environment than Monaco, a difficult place for any young player to develop, for us not to have been screwed over. Kovacic has world class ability and we could've kept him along with Kondogbia if we really wanted to. The fact Mancini refuses to accommodate a player of Kovacic's talent in this Inter side says more about his ability than anything else.
Well that is just the point. Kova couldn't perform at the level of the price Real Madrid now was ready to pay for him. Kova is still too young to carry Inter to CL places(I don't even know if anyone could).
To be clear I would not have sold Kovacic but I am little bit surprised how even some older members of this forum are reacting about the sale. It almost seems that this is first time to many when their favourite player is sold. Players come and go thats part of club football.
