You sound regretful. I regret not having seen him play this season. At least with Jonathan on the pitch, i might have had a few laughs. This season has been utterly miserable.

Just a question, has he ever played under Mancini?

Didn't he play that friendley against PSG and then he re-injured? I feel I saw him there but I might be wrong.

No, because Manshitni is a shit manager who can't see the potential in Jonathan.

His performance with Mazzarri speaks volumes, and his contribution will forever remain in us interisti's heart.

I'd just like to say that Jonathan had some nice attacking skills from time to time. So before anybody starts saying how useless he was, remember that we would've been far lower on the table without Mazzarri's wingbacks - Nagatomo and Jonathan.

So yeah, this year I did kinda miss our fullbacks/wingbacks in attack. One good fullback in attack means a lot in todays football instead of just passengers waiting at the back. Just look at how much Ivanović or Lichtsteiner bring to their teams.

Off the top of my head, I remember Jonathan playing against Starnjan (?) in the Europa League as I remember him assisting at least one Icardi goal.

He assisted in both home (Icardi) and away (Dodo) games against Stjarnan. IMO he suited Mazzarri's formation like a glove.

He wasn't that bad under WM like some here say...he is more capable going forward and do some damage than D,Ambro tbh.
My opinion...

Do not even start comparing il divino to these average full backs like Danilo.

It's a crime to put them in the same sentence, let alone comparing them. Jonathan's number of assists under Mazzarri will be the number of assists Danilo makes in his entire career.

Pretty much sums up Mazzarri's coaching ability really.
