His frequent long shots, and Hernanes', are all about Mazzarri, therefore shouldn't be as annoying as they are now. Actually nothing in this team happens without Mazzarri's approval. That's why it's no bother for him to have a "weak" captain, because he is their leader not Ranocchia. Back to the point: Hernanes and Guarin are at fault for many things they do, but not for the frequency of the long shots. They are doing what's been asked of them to do. Apparently Mazzarri saw a goal scoring potential in that. I wouldn't be surprised if Mazzarri was even very specific in the number of long shots he asked for.
