Yep. He rejected Juve when he was younger so he could stay in Udine, so he is def not going to retire in any other club other than Udine and no sum of money would lure him away. One of the last loyal players in a generation that's ending.

Since most probably we are going to play with wingers next year I would very like for us to go after that Keita kid from Lazio.

Keita, 19 years old, 181cm, 5 goals, 5 assists, 1286 minutes played, 1 goal per each 257 minute.
Januzaj, 19 years old, 182cm, 4 goals, 4 assists, 1645 minutes played, 1 goal per each 411 minute.

I am not saying they are the same or one is better than the other. It is just a comparison. Both players have the same age, the same built, play in the same role and both didn't have a steady season with manager changes and all.

But you have got to admit, Keita could be a real gem whom compared to Januzaj is undiscovered.

Keita is the most talented kid in Serie A. I would love him here, but Lotito is a bastard to deal with at the best of times. He forced 15M out of us for Hernanes, one can only imagine how much he'd want for Keita

I'd love to see us bring in an exciting talent like Depay or Keita if we were going to play with wingers. However, I still believe a move for Cerci is the safest bet, as we could easily switch to a 3-5-2 and remain that way for the rest of the season after one or two losses. Cerci is atleast used to playing as a SS in a 3-5-2.

I agree that a safer bet would be Cerci and that if we wanted to get a CL spot then someone like him would help us with that goal, but if we wanted to somehow get back to being a title contender I feel we'd have to gamble on players who have high ceilings. As good as Cerci is he's not going to ever win as a scudetto, whereas Keita very well might.

I mean, yeah he is decent and young and all.. But still is far from the world class potential that you are saying he has, at least he hasn't shown that yet.

Cerci is a better buy right now obviously but the thing is we can't afford him. Between the young players Keita seems like one of the safest bet.

But to me the best option for the winger position is Lamela.
