They only sell it for PS3 and Xbox 360. She thought because her wii games work on her Wii U(awful awful excuse for a system) that PS3 games would work. I returned it and preorder Mario Kart and got Metal Gear when I returned the game. Fifa 2014 I am trying to get it on craigslist.

Metal Gear is pretty intense but my favorite game is that Roshogun game. Super addicting.

The Wii U really isn't great but still it's the only system where you can get your Mario Kart/Legend of Zelda/Smash bros-fix. Metal gear seems cool but still it's just a prologue the real.game has yet to come. Fifa 14 sucks...but still if you like football you need it. Resogun is great, I loved it. But it's not as challenging as I would like it to be.

why is it awful? Just curious because I was planning to buy one for Mario kart and DK.

It had a lack of games when it launched and is really gimmicky. They didn't add anything useful just some tweaks here and there. HD graphics look good thou. I also think it's overpriced. But now they are going to.release their system sellers aka Mario Kart, Smah Bros, Legend of Zelda.

yeah, but aside from lack of games and controls, how does the system work? At the beginnning was said the interface was very slow and was crashing the system a lot. Have they fixed that? I'm waiting to E3, what I want the most is an account system.

has 0 GAMES !! Only good game is Wind Waker !! People hated it on Gamecube !!!! 2 systems later they HD it?

Also SUper MArio Wii U looks exactly the same as the Super Mario Wii game. It has 0 games so far. Mario Party, Mario Kart, Metroid, and Zelda are not reasons to buy a system. My fiancee mom got it for her to destress from med school. Its a pretty awful system and seems less powerful than a PS3 and has 0 online mode.

The iPad controller thing is basically useless. Its a Wii that lets you use HDMI cable. They need to get rid of the controller and make it $100-150 bucks.

I think this is Nintendos last system. No way they can compete with the PS4 and Xbox One.

Agreed about Wind Waker, and Super Mario WiiU, but that was clearly a lazy effort because Mario 3D World looks amazing. And while I see your point about the lack of games, for many people those games are worth to buy a system. Not for me though, I'd also like more third party games.

I'm interested mainly for 2 reasons, my Wii doesn't read some of my games anymore (Smash, Metroid Prime Trilogy and Xenoblade) and I bought a LOT of virtual console games (Nes, Snes and N64 mainly) and I'd like to register them in an account system. The way it is handled today is terrible, so I'm hoping for an update to fix this problem. No way I'm moving those games to a WiiU if in the future I have to move them AGAIN to a new system.

I also think they should get rid of the controller, just like Microsoft did with Kinect, but it doesn't look is gonna happen soon.

And not to discuss about console wars here(I go to another forum for that, lol), but this is not Nintendo's last system. You're right, they can't compete with Microsoft and Sony so they must do something different, just like they did with the Wii and were extremely successful. They tried to compete with the WiiU and are failing misserably. But they have enough money in the bank to survive this whole generation. If anything, this might be Microsoft or Sony's last system, specially Sony who is having huge financial problems.

You can easily hack the Wii and download all the games from emulator sites. We use my hacked Wii way more then the Wii U.

People still buy Nintendo because kids who were 10-20 in 1990-1995 are having kids and buy them shitty Wiis. Kids who were 10-20 in 2010 and later will know that every Nintendo since Super Nintendo have been a shitty system

1 Metroid, 1 Zelda and 2 Mario games aren't enough games in a 5 year span.

Loved the N64 as well. So many memories: Super Mario 64, Ocarina of time, Majoras Mask, Rayman 2, Smash Bros, Mario Kart and many more!

I'd probably rather play Zelda and Mario than 99% of other big budget games out there. Nothing beats Nintendo in terms of class and fun.

They sure got the most classy and some of the best franchises, but nowadays they just can't hold up with the Halo's and the Uncharted's and so on. But I read some articles about their next console and it's going to be more powerful. I'm pretty sure their next console is going to be grea again.

How is the Wii U shit because of its slow start? As a system in whole it's not bad, and has quite a few cool things on the DLC store. I don't own one and I don't plan on getting it any time soon, but when the games start coming out the console will become more popular as time goes on. The biggest fail was having it as a successor to the Wii hoping its popularity would continue on instead of starting fresh. They've turned away 3rd party developers the past few years really badly and they definitely won't return until the gimmicks are gone and the systems powers are on par with Sony's and Microsoft's.

They did fuck up in a way by choosing to release Super Smash Bros. on the 3DS and could potentially hurt Wii U sales as well.

No, Nintendo next console won't be more powerful, not by the standards of those years anyway. Unlike Microsoft they can't sell their consoles at a loss, so they would have to sell it at a very high price to get some profit and that would be suicide.

Console power is overrated anyway, what matters are the games and user experience. Compare sells of previous generations and with the exception of Snes-Genesis, usually the least powerful console sells more: Nes > Master System; Gameboy > GameGear; PS > N64; PS2 > Xbox,GC; Wii > 360, PS3; DS > PSP; 3DS > Vita.

Besided, we have reached a point that power is just good enough imo, focusing only on that would be a huge mistake.

That's the problem, there's no much third party games in the future. I think Nintendo realized that the WiiU is done, so they're focusing more on the 3DS. They will continue to support the WiiU but they're not expecting a miracle anymore.

Nintendo will never again be as powerful as Microsoft or Sony, but even those two are losing money nowadays. What matters is that Nintendo will always have a loyal fanbase because they rarely disappoint. Even the last Rayman was best played on WiiU

Nintendo needs a normal controller. I LOVED LOVED LOVER THE GAMECUBE !!!

This tv remote bullshit needs to stop and now this funky controller needs to stop. Only 2-3 games actually used that shit

doesn't come with the system and the games aren't designed for it. Its the issue with every add on for every system since the beginning of time. Cost a shit ton of money to make a game. Developers aren't going to add shit for something people don't have that is why the kinect fails big time or the stupid wii controller for ps3(had how many games??? The Harry potter game and what else?).

I wish the PS4 would get a nicer OS system and the PS Plus for PS4 would actually let you have a decent free game. When can my old PS3 PSN be available for PS4? I bought a bunch of PS1 and PS2 games I want to play. Whats the point of this digital shit if they don't transfer over to the next system.
