you guys should realize that this guy is just 18, he's definitely an exciting prospect but that's it, he'll most likely be a fringe player this season and maybe even the next

Of course, i don't expect him alone to bring us CL, but i do except him to perform well. Like Lamela or ElSha, average first season, brilliant second

I also hope we give him trust, even if he plays bad, i hope he starts at least 10 games till the end of the season, which would be more than 50%. I also hope he won't get injured or seomthing.

This has been our biggest downfall in recent years. Never giving young players the proverbial "vote of confidence"

Yes people feel very excited, I feel very excited but pipe it down a bit.

Its good we get him now so he can adapt and by next season start playing a bigger role in the squad but to expect him to make a difference in the CL fight and walk in and starred every game is ludicrous.

Good thing is that according to reports Stramaccioni was behind the transfer so he'll at least try to make it work.

Edit: People kind of want the kid to change the way we play from the get go thats impossible and he probably has no say in that. Its the coach who needs to scrap the troll-ball movement he's behind.

Maybe, but then again, we haven't spend 15 mils on them either.

Also, most of them were injury prone as hell, maybe more, i hope Mateo will stay injury free.

anyhow from what I've read, his best positions are AM and as winger, but can also play as CM. hes mostly playing as cm to make way for another player in dinamo zagreb, so thats not his "natural" position. ugh...
