It would be interesting summer, big teams might want to sell strikers to reinforce their squads because there aren't many good strikers around and Italian teams are more likely to sell. I can see Vlahovic, Chiesa, Leao, Osimhen or even Thuram going. It would trigger domino.

But what teams can splash big money on striker? Not Madrid, Barca (unless they have fund from De Jong) I only think of PSG, Arsenal, Newcastle or Tottenham.

So Conceicao to Milan, pretty much confirmed by Villas Boas (their new president).

I rate him pretty high, way higher than Lopetegui. But still below Motta or Conte (Serie A version) imo.

Motta to Juve and Conte Napoli next? Next season is going to be very very tough.

Do you remember the season when Allegri, Spaletti, Mou and Sari join the show. It was suppose to be a nightmare for us with Limone. At the end the fight was between Simone and Pioli (by the way, fuck Radu).
Don`t jump to conclusions so fast.

Not so fast, all of noises are from Mendes, he still has to talk with new president Andre Villas Boas this week, moreover if you have Mendes lurking around your club, not sure it’s a good sign.

I've recently read that Jube want to send Djalo on loan.
Yes, this is the same guy who was supposed to join us on a free deal, but Jube bought him in the winter.
It seems that we didn't miss anything here.

They were also a lot more proven.

Motta has been great at Bologna but he has never been tested at a top club with pressure. I think he has what it takes to succeed but it's far from a certainty. Conceisao has done a great work at Porto but the jump from Liga Nos to Serie A is big. Let's see if he can swim.

No more wins against Milan, it's probably going to be draws from now on, because he'll make them play for that 0:0

Bad news if true. Conceicao is very competitive and can do big things with a bit of budget in my opinion.

Conceicao is better than Lopetegui and an upgrade over Pioli imo, not massive but he’ll transmit more grinta to the players. He makes me think of a Portuguese Simeone more than Conte like some people are saying.

Would rather him than Motta though 100%

I wouldn't get ahead of myself and say that Conceicao would be an upgrade over Pioli. The latter has actually overachieved with a mediocre side. We've bitchslapped Milan in a consistent basis, no matter who their coach was though, so he's gotten so much blame and unfair judgement because he was getting owned by Inter (consistently).

I'm not going to praise him as well, but it's quite difficult to remain solid and win trophies while your foundation is poor. Inter has gone through a long process before we came where we are now, and Inzaghi has already taken over a team ready to win the title. Conte brought that winning mentality which was lacking among the group, while Inzaghi has also done his job, but the foundation was there.

By foundation, I mean the group of players, a proper head management and everything else. I really don't care whoever Milan hires as their next coach, but I think they are just scapegoating Pioli, while completely ignoring the fact that their team is mediocre af, and their management has no proper vision in a long term.

Then again, I might be wrong regarding eventual upgrade, but honestly he's tactically superior than Conceicao IMO. Just because it sounds exciting in paper, doesn't automatically means an upgrade though. This reminds me so much of Inter's banter era, no matter whom we were linked, I'd get super excited because things weren't working, and felt like anyone joining would make things for better.

I don’t dislike Pioli; he’s done an admirable job, but they’ve absolutely peaked with him and their defending is shambolic. Granted their defenders aren’t the best, but a lot of that comes down to the system as well. They need to tighten up at the back before they can do anything else. Conceicao could be that guy.

Their group as a whole is in dysfunction. Reminds me a lot of that period while we were underperforming under Inzaghi. Basically everyone looked like garbage, and especially our defence looked pure trash, no organization and whatsoever. Again, Pioli for sure deserves the blame as well, but he's not the only issue in Milan these days.

Their management needs to solve "objective" issue, how they are gonna achieve it, and then find proper men to execute that plan. Not sure if that sounds right, but we have seen how changing coaches isn't gonna solve anything while you're build on a poor foundation.

Milan tight the defense and they couldn't score. There is a tradeoff. Their best two players Theo and Leao are the opposite of parking the bus, coz one's defense is so shit + other one seems don't care.

Milan squad is overrated but mediocre at best. But still, finishing 2nd and 1 Scudetto is massive. I agree with Besnik, upgrading Pioli with Conceicao is like walking around the problem.

They need a more competitive director whom actually works with the coach. Not collecting a bunch of bargains then "hey, here are your chickens and potatoes bake me a pizza" kind of stuffs...

I'm not sure how good will be Conveicao away from Portugal league. Many over hyped players and some coaches came frome there.
Pioli was good for Milan, except their recent games against Inter.
I mean, their loss vs Roma in EL this season is a failure, but otherwise they are second, they played semi final in CL last season, and they won a scudetto with a weaker squad. What more they want from him?
I think Napoli will be a strong competition for top 4 next season with Pioli as a coach

They even have similar number of points now as they had when they won two years ago. They just have way superior opponent against them this time.

As usual, our window will depend on the ability to sell the youngster & deadwood player (or Thuram).

▪︎ Carboni for 30M
▪︎ Satriano for 6-8M
▪︎ Pio Esposito
▪︎ Seba Esposito
▪︎ Oristiano
▪︎ Agoume for 5-8M
▪︎ Dumfries for 30M?
▪︎ Arna for 3-5M
▪︎ Correa for 3-5M (Como please!!)
▪︎ Zanotti

I'd like for us to keep Carboni and Zanotti. Others I don't care about. If Carboni and Zanotti are included in the team and we sell Correa (ha ha), Arnautović (he'll probably stay as a fourth option) and Dumfries, we can buy a CB and try to go into the season with a bit younger squad.

Have Buchanan and Zanotti on the right side, Dimarco and Carlos Augusto on the left. Darmian should be a bench player that comes on when somebody needs a breather on the wing.
