Two former Rube in one week plus the loss of Onana is brutal, especially considering the quality of Cuadrado and Morata. I get the club is financially handcuffed but there have to be better options available.

I genuinely feel that Morata is a back up option to Balogun. We’ll try to get the Balogun deal done but if arsenal are playing the long game we’ll just sign Morata to have him for pre season. No issues for me tbh

Di Marzio said that if Correa is not sold, there won't be 2 strikers coming. So signing Morata means no Balogun.

This guy is worse than Flopkaku but I think he can contribute more than Dzeko who was walking corpse most of the last season.

This has to be the most shit mercato ever. Losing quality left and right and replaceme them with Sommer, Bisseck and Morata. And Cuadrado oh top of that😂
Well we have a coach who knows to deal with situation like this. If we have Cunte than I would be worried.

Wait till we consider Bonucci as well. Marotta is probably pissed that he went through with the De Vrij extension... complicates things for him.

when he came back to juve i was expecting him to do well but he totally failled. But we also need to consider that everyone is doing bad there, even Chiesa who is their best player or Vhlaovic that was a beast at Fiorentina. I don't watch la liga so can't tell how good he was after leaving Juve but who knows, maybe at the end he could become decent for us. If i remember correctly he played 352 at Juve, maybe with this system he will do more.

Let's also not forget that we played with 10 man last year with Dzeko starting every game. Morata (and Thuram) should be really terrible if they play worse then him.

This really isnt true.

When he came back in 20/21 he wasnt bad at all. 20 goals 12 assists in 2800 minutes in all competitions.

21/22, sure he was very poor. But the entire Rube team was awful by then.

He is no superstar, but hardly as bad as some of the hyperbole opinions of people here make him out to be.

Getting him as a rotational experienced forward for 15m€ or lower wouldnt be the end of the world.

This smells like another panic buy. I'm not so against Morata like some of the other members, but I also think that we shall keep our valuation and not give him a fat contract. He was linked with Milan for 5mln net and Roma, 4.5mln net. There is no reason to go over those numbers. If he chooses something else, let him go.

Fuck me. We better hope Thuram blows up in a big way because we’re not gonna be getting a ton of goals from Morata and Correa. And let’s be real, Correa isn’t going anywhere.

It will feel a bit bad if we give him 4x 5m contract, specially if Growth Decree isn't eligible. Let alone going above that number.

Conte couldn't cope with only a downgrade from Hakimi to Dumfries. What an inflexible coach that guy is, ffs. Limone keeps going with whatever shit they throw at him

Even Simone has limits, though. He won't sign new contract before the mercato is over.

About 7 years ago I dreamed that we had a pair of strikers Icardi-Morata, and this season it may come true ). In my opinion Morata will be a starter and will score at least 20 goals a season, he is an insane improvement over 36 year old Dzeko.
