Sommer is fine, still need to be more careful with his passing though.

But then, we have to question why the fuck that we spent our entire budget for a backup GK who probably won't play much this season unless some unexpected events happen. The situation is different than Handa-Onana back then because at that time, Handa was already declined significantly. It's not like there's no good gk anymore. We can easily loan a backup one, wait for another season to find someone that is already good enough to replace Sommer.

Thought he was very slow in coming out for the first goal, but the complaints about him seem silly after the derby.

I will say that because of his height, I always wonder if some of the saves he makes would look much easier if he was taller

Yes I agree. I don't remember him being tested, like he has been in the Derby. He reacted well but the defense let him down multiple times. I would like to see Martinez play Coppa and Supercoppa tho..

1. Blameless for the first goal. I wouldn't blame him for conceding a pointblank shot although the ball was close to him.
2. Also blameless. Our defence let him down for allowing conceicao to dritf inside too easily.
3. This is a Handa moment. It was a great shot and it was uncertain if Sommer could save it. But at least he had to try to save the shot instead of dropping to the ground lazily. No effort meant the attempt would surely go in.
4. Again, not an easy shot. However, a goalkeeper of between Inter's goalposts should be able to save it. It was also a routine save for the peak Sommer. This should raise a concern if Sommer will be reliable for the rest of the season, let alone the next one.

My issue is Sommer is good some games but he is not consistent. Yesterday was a throw back to the late Handanovic years where he lets in every shot on target that wasnt right at him. Di Gregorio was making great saves left and right meanwhile we let in anything on target. I dont want this to get to the point it was in Samirs late years where our opponents are just shooting from any and all angles knowing he'd probably fuck up or not even try to dive.

So i don't use desktop or laptop, just my phone to go on FIF. Note that it doesn't show up on chrome or any other browser (for both mobile and desktop mode). Thanks for looking into this.

I have the same issue. I cannot see, I need to click on the link too, and I use the same browser and device as before.
