Why do you support Inter, and how did you choose Inter?

So.. you're one of those who don't meet the cliché that every Inter fan has had to go through suffering and dark periods, but that's ok. You know how it feels like. Have a good time here. =)

..no I certainly wasn't here in the dark times . I like to think I would still have been a fan though. When Julio Cesar saved that penalty kick today against Palermo I did feel the "rush" of adrenaline.
Cheers!

My story goes like this.

Back in about 96, 97 when I started watching club football, everyone and their mother is either a Juve, Milan or Roma fan here in Toronto, Canada. Most of my family supports Pooventus (everyone but one Udinese supporter). So I very simply decided I would start supporting Inter since everyone hated them. Me and my step brother both started cheering for them together actually. I haven't looked back since.

FORZA INTER

I dunno why I fell in love with Inter:)I remember that all the time I loved it thats it:lol:It sounds funny but when me and other kids like 10 years ago were playing football on playstation:lol I always picked Inter.I dunno why I just liked it.
And here comes the shit part...When I was younger I wasn't such a die hard fan like I am now.Inter was my fav but I also thought that Milan:)palm:) and even Juve:)palm:)are ok because they has good players and other shit...But later when I realised that they are Inter rivals and what kind of bitches they are I started to hate them and love Inter even more.
So thats my story.Don't be too hard on me cuz when I was kid I didn't knew true face of BB and JuMerdus but i always cheered for Inter no matter what.Sorry for bad english.
Forza Inter:)

Thx for being honest. :)

And don't be ashamed of anything cause I know alot of people, even now, that don't care if Milan/Inter/Juve/Roma are arch-rivals or not. They root for all of 'em in their different moods. :p

I fell for Inter when my family moved to Milan. I was 8, and huge into football and wanted a local team to be able to go see and support. That left the choice between Bbilan and Inter... I favored blue to red, actually - so I began to follow the Nerazzurri. A few weeks in, I attended my first Inter game. 5-1 over Parma, a brace from Bam Bam, and sole goals from from each Vieri, Moreiro, and an own goal from someone at Parma whose name I don't remember. It was beautiful. They finished 4th that year... behind Lazio, Jube, and Bbilan... but I didn't care. They had passion and they seemed like a family. They were just it for me.

This is as good a place as any for my first post. I am a new Inter fan. I am from the Philadelphia area and I am a big supporter of my home team ( Union/MLS ) . But I like watching the European football. My brother follows Inter a bit ( not as much as me now though ). When my wife went to Milan for a worktrip a few years back my brother asked her to pick him up some Inter socks . So she did, she also bought me a Inter 1908 100 year aniversery t shirt. A while after that I happen to catch Inter on foxSoccer channel and I've been watchin ever since. Kinda stupid I guess, but whatever . Ya gotta have a reason to start watching a team at some time.

cheers

I've been a fan for a short time as well. But hell, when we lost to Manchester United in the CL a few years back and Ibrahimovic missed his opportunities, I remember being mad at that loss in Old Trafford. As long as you stand by them through thick and thin, it's all good.

Yea, that was. I've only been a fan since summer 2008, when I bought the uniform, (not knowing what team it was) and I promised my friends in South America I would adopt a club team. After looking through hundreds of jerseys, (including Bilan, Man U, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayern, Barcelona, and a ton of South American teams etc.) I thought Inter's 2007-2008 design looked the best at the time when shopping. I looked them up (thanks to my friends telling me what I bought) and have been a supporter ever since.

That was really my first time (other than that 0-1 loss against Bilan early) experiencing a loss I couldn't stand. I haven't been a supporter as long as some of you on here, but I did get the taste of defeat with that one and got to really experience anger/frustration among the team.

I like Inter since Zamorano (I´m chilean) and Christian Vieri times. Il bobo was my favorite international soccer player, and this starts too with Inter colours (very nice), and the sad history of many years without winning titles, like my favorite chilean team, Universidad de Chile. FORZA INTER.

Well my story is funny i think. When i was young I didn't care about football and I even hated it. So there was 2001 I think not sure about it and my friends started playing pc game football manager 2001 or something. They were all milan and jube fans so I had to pick something else so I chose Inter. There's my Inter story begins, so we picked our teams and start playing, on derbies we start to gamble who would win (in Fm 2001) small € just for fun :) It was fun, but after that i knew all the players I still remember cordoba, materazzi, simic, pasquale, emre, Cz, recoba, vieri, kallon, ronaldo. When i saw them on tv it was like i know them all... and i became a inter fan.... BUT thats not all there is a documentary film called operazione offiside thats explains all the bad jube did for us to not win. After that i become a hard core fan and proud of it.

Ps
Sorry my eng is kinda bad so ..
operazione offiside documentary: if anyone wants to see it i can post it on piratebay or something is very informative

And btw where is Luciano Moggi now... He should be life in prison and not commenting shit on TV, So why isnt he is jail?

If you're only a glory hunter, are you psychic or something? Because you signed up almost a year before they actually won the treble
