That is 27 players. Choutos could of course be one of those who gets loaned out. I doubt it actually, though.
Remember what I said about Choutos though? An injury prone troublemaker. He´s already doing seperate training after one training match.

Lamouchi, Farinos, Pasquale, Sorondo and Adani are the ones I think could leave. I do however, think that Lamouchi and Farinos could stay.

Jimmy's squad is pretty much what I hope our squad to be next season.

I hope that Choutos is loaned out though, there really is no need for him right now. I admit I have never seen him play, but he doesn't sound all that great does he.

Well, so Jimmy's squad almost matches with mine and others as well. The only difference being that Jimmy has got 6 strikers (27 players, and mine squad: 26, which is not a big difference). And I very much doubt that we will have just 25/26 players' squad.

But do we really need 6 strikers? Choutos or Ventola will the be 6th striker. Personally, I don't think we need 6 strikers, as V.Meyde can also play in that role, if needed.

And if we do keep 6 strikers, who should we opt: Ventola or Choutos. I would vote for Ventola for various reasons, of which one being that he as been with us for many seasons, loaned out so many times and I find it irritating the same player coming and going out every season. Just keep him, if he doesn't mind the bench role (6th striker). Ventola is an experienced player in Serie.

Ze Maria - This one is really getting irritating. One day, he's close to us, the next day he's far again.

Kily/Cesar - If we are to bring Cesar, then we do have to say goodbye to Kily. But if we don't bring Cesar, then we should keep him and he might be of great use for us, but that is if he doesn't demand a starting role.

Adani-Cannavaro - It does seem that we will keep one of them, but the question is who? I wud had been happy had we kept Adani instead, but only if he doesn't mind the bench role, as he has been doing till now. Keeping Cannavaro won't be easy, unless Mancini doesn't mind playing two short defenders as we already have Cordoba and Burdisso.

Karagounis - I am very much hopeful that Inter won't make the mistake of selling Karagounis, as that would indeed be a big blow for us, as Karagounis would indeed be a superb back up player and at the same time even compete for the starting role, as the season goes by.

* These are players that remains question marks. Cordaz and Coco was not included in the CL squad. I don´t know the reason for Cordaz, but when it comes to Coco I´m quite positive it was because he has no match-fitness in order to play these two games. I don´t believe he will be transferred to Lazio or any other club. There was simply no point registrering him when he wouldn´t play. He hasn´t played a real match for almost a year.

Pasquale seems to stay for one more season. Waste of his talent.

Kily Gonzalez is going to play the Olympics. I am quite confident he´ll remain with Inter.

Zicu was a player most of us had expected to be loaned out. But his name on the CL list might mean he´ll be with us the coming season. He seems to have impressed Mancini. Otherwise I don´t see any reason for giving him a number and a place in the CL squad.

Nicola Ventola is the biggest question-mark. His name in the CL squad should perhaps not be taken so seriously, since he is a striker and we lack strikers as of right now. So it could just be for these two games Inter are planning to have him avaliable.
But I wouldn´t be so surprised to see him stay. Is six strikers too much? Probably.

The players that are currently under our ownership and seems to be leaving are: Daniele Adani, Gonzalo Sorondo, Sabri Lamouchi, Francisco Farinos, Lampros Choutos and Issah Eliakwu.

So this squad will probably be added with one more player (Cesar) and we seem to be heading towards season 2004/05 with a squad consisting of 29-30 players.

I am glad I am not the only one who thinks Coco will stay. I thought the same thought as you obviously did. He is out of match form. When he has played more training matches he will be available to Mancini.

Cordaz? Is he injured or is Bindi simply preferred?

I hope Pasquale stays. Because if Coco can´t escape his injury hell we will be left with only Favalli and Pasquale. I know Bur and Café could cover them. But in some situations it is best to have a true LB IMO.

Kily? I think he will stay. At least I hope so.

Zicu remains a mistery to me. I personally prefer to loan him out to another Serie A side. But I won´t mind if he stays in the squad if he accepts the bench or stand.

I am undecided on Ventola: On one side he is a true Nerazzurro, on the flipside I doubt his talent. Tough call. :lala:

Inter still have to many, if it's true that there will be 30 players in the squad, we should sell or loan out abaut 5 more. It's ridicules to have such a huge squad. That will mean that ouer reserves will have reserves. What a waste of money.

So let's assume that we will have about 29-30 players (Cesar included) in our squad like Jimmy suggested. Mancini can pick 18 players for an official match. It means that over ten players are left out of the match.

With this I just want to point AGAIN how silly Inter management has been AGAIN in the transfer market. Silly and unable to act with this surplus of players for whom we pay wages every week. We almost should be able to compete in the mid-table in Serie A with that out-of-squad line-up.

Must be a nice season coming to for example Karagounis, Burdisso, Pasquale, Kily, Ventola...

Jimmy's last squad looks good, thoug too big. 25-26 players would be optimal. And I would certainly keep Coco and Ventola, I'd rather send Cruz away.

I can't believe you guys are coming up with the excuse that because Coco hasn't played for a while that he wasn't called up. Guys seriously, wake up and smell the coffee. The likes of Vieri and Cannavaro are injured but they were still listed for the Qualifyers. Coco has been playing all during the retreat, and he also played in the Birra Moretti tournie. Even if he wasn't a 100% (which isn't true since he was cleared to play by the doctors during the early phases of the retreat) then he would still be called up like Vieri and Canna were.

After him not being called up I'm truly convinced he is going to be sold or traded off to help get Cesar.
