Pelé is a big one as well.

Bought from Guimaraes out of pretty much nowhere, got 15 matches in the latter half of the 2007/2008 season in a stacked midfield, scored two against the Roman clubs, one of them a wonder goal in the Supercoppa, and looked like an all-around boss if my memory isn’t deceiving me.

Then look at the rest of his career;

2008–2010Porto2(0)
2009Portsmouth (loan)0(0)
2009–2010Valladolid (loan)23(0)
2010–2013Eskişehirspor41(3)
2013Ergotelis12(3)
2014–2015Olympiacos5(0)
2015Levadiakos (loan)10(1)
2015–2017Anorthosis36(7)

Pele, Suazo and Luis Jimenez are some weird unsung heroes of the last Mancini season :D

Watched the last Mancini season goal compilation, totally forgot about Cesar (not Julio).

Jimenez was rubbish and on par with the likes of Alvaro Pereira.

Senna Miangue was just a primavera kid that didn't work. He was even decent in the few games he played under De Boer. I was never bothered by him.

As for Mariga, the only thing i remember from him is this match. He's certainly worth a mention.

Mariga was a talent, it’s a shame we never really got to see that. He was really young too like 21-22. Injuries and a declining inter didn’t make for a good environment to improve as a player.

Big Mac! Really liked him actually and thought he was decent in Benitez's absurd 4231 as one of the holding mids. But injuries and whatnot.. Apparently he retired at just 31/32 years old.

Andreo Pirlo. Bergkamp. Roberto Carlos
Bergkamp and Roberto Carlos are not fever dream players in my opinion. People remember then playing for Inter.

Talking of fever dream players, the likes of Edgar Davids and Maniche come to my mind. Big name players, but people hardly remember them playing for Inter, due to them being so underwhelming of course.

I was thinking of some of our past January transfers and i threw my head back remembering we bought Pazzini from Sampdoria to fill in for an injured Milito during the post-treble season. I think his first game for us he scored 2 goals and when we got a penalty later on it was Eto'o who took the shot

IIRC his first 6 months at Inter were pretty good but the season after he was frustrating. I remember hating him when we got knocked out of the CL by Marseille.

It's a funny piece of history how Sampdoria broke up their attacking duo that transfer window for both Milan sides - only for both Inter and Milan to exchange Pazzini and Cassano about 2 years later. We got cash as well I'm pretty sure.
