A solid definition of "fever dream" on Urban Dictionary for those who aren't aware:

1. (figurative, descriptive) A disjointed or strange experience, especially one that engenders an even greater sense of outlandishness when considered retrospectively, similar to how actual fever dreams feel in real life.

In other words, players you just couldn't believe actually played at Inter or you've just simply forgotten about due to how surreal it is.

I'll start with Hernanes  I completely forgot this guy existed tbh and looking back it feels very surreal to me that he played for us. To make it even weirder we sold him to JUVENTUS! Given how rare the two clubs do business with each other I'm surprised that's not etched into my mind.

Just another name in an ever-growing list of players that we were always linked to but didn't actually sign until much later. Still waiting on Lavezzi.

Cool thread. I don't know so much about a fever dream player but there were so many weird signings, disappointments and surprises over the past 20 years. It's all one long nightmare for me.

I loved Luis Jimenez and thought he showed a lot of promise in his first season. Then Mou came and he never played for us again and had some shit spells out on loan. Then despite having a fantastic season at Cesena, he ended up fucking off to the middle east. Shame. I thought one of the smaller Serie A sides would definitely pick him up following that stint at Cesena. Maybe they tried but he preferred the arid heat of the desert.

Angelo Palombo

I really liked Palombo at Samp. Admittedly he'd had a down season prior to joining us but I didn't expect he'd bomb so hard. (I think it was the season Samp got relegated, and he joined us from Serie B?)

If I recall correctly, he only made like 4 apps for us, which was confusing. I mean sure he was shit, but honestly we've seen plenty of guys rack up far greater minutes while playing at a disastrous level (Santon, Medel, Zarate, Pereira etc.) so it doesn't make sense that we'd banish Palombo for being crap in his negligible game time. Maybe playing in B had just ruined him

Mudingayi was awesome to me.

It always feels weird that Forlan and Vidić were here.

The only reason I remember Forlan vividly is because we bought him not knowing we couldn't register him in the champions league that season

My fever dream players are: Stephane Dalmat, Jérémie Bréchet, Mikaël Silvestre, Matias Silvestre, Dominic Morfeo, Sergio Conceicao and Guly.

Admittedly, the players that I have hated the most in my 29 years as a supporter are: Rivas, Morfeo, Conceicao, Guly and Álvaro Pereira (fuckn shit Cunt).

I think Edgar Davids. He played for Inter, but it was so shortly that I barely remember him.
