Has Colidio done anything?

Nevermind looks like he wasn’t called up.

It's my understanding that Colidio was a bust in the qualifiers and lost his spot to some local dude. Guess that explains his exclusion

Just read back through this thread. Incredibly high conversion rate. It includes stars like Griezmann, de Gea and Alaba, quality role players like Shaqiri and Badelji.

• Jack Collison: His career was plagued with injuries, which retired him from football. His last club was Peterborough United, and he is the current coach of Atlanta United 2. Certainly wasn't the next Carrick or Lampard.

• Nassim Ben Khalifa: He was on Switzerland's reserve list, but he didn't make it into the final squad. Didn't live up to the hype, he currently plays for Tunisian side Espérance ST. @FCBarca was right about him not being ready.

• David De Gea: Whilst he hasn't been the same since the 2018 World Cup, he is definitely one of the best goalkeepers in the history of Man United in the Premier League era.

• Javier Hernandez: Overall he had a decent carrer, but he could've been much better. Currently plays for LA Galaxy in the MLS.

• Vassilis Torosidis: Another one that suffered with injuries, he had a pretty decent spell at Roma and also played for Bologna. Retired in 2020 with Greek outfit Olympiacos.

• Georginio Wijnaldum: Do I need to say anything?

• Afroto: Needless to say, he wasn't the Egyptian Messi. Currently plays for Ala'ab Damanhour in the second division.

• Milan Badelj: Badelj had a really decent career playing in Hamburg and Serie A clubs Fiorentina, Lazio and Genoa. For Croatia, he was part of the team that were the runners up of the 2018 World Cup. He wasn't the next Boban, though.

• Sebastián Blanco: Certainly not the "next star of Argentinian football". Currently plays for Portland Timbers.

• Sebastián Coates: Flopped at Anfield, helped Sunderland escape relegation, and won the Liga NOS with Sporting. Great redemption from him.

• David Alaba: Again, do I need to say anything?

• Giorgos Efrem: He didn't really prove his doubtors wrong as he mostly stayed in Cyprus. Currently plays for AEL Limassol.

• Ozan Ipek: Ipek ended up flopping at Bursaspor mostly thanks to indiscipline. Currently a free agent since 2018.

• Danny Wilson: Needless to say, he wasn't the "new Alan Hansen". Danny Wilson ended up flopping at Anfield and he currently plays in the MLS for Colorado Rapids.

Part 2 coming someday idk

Since the 2009 thread was somewhat popular, I will continue posting the players from IMScouting's 'Player To Watch' list. If anyone has seen a player listed below playing, please do not hesitate to make some comments. Everyone will be interested in hearing how these guys look in real matches and also suggestions for a spot on Inter's team should also be voiced.

I think it would be really interesting to discuss players hear and then see them in our team in the near future.
It's 11 years late lol, but just wondering if you could share the link to IMScouting

As I promised, here is part 2!

• Antoine Griezmann: Despite his dreadful transfer to Barcelona, Griezmann was one of the best French players in the 2010s. Currently back at Atléti.

• Adam Matuschyk: Adam proved to be a dud at Köln, and I don't think everyone was talking about him instead of Podolski. Currently plays for FC Düren in the 5th tier of German football.

• Pablo Barrera: Barrera would end up flopping at West Ham before returning to Mexican football. Currently plays for Querétaro, Ronaldinho's former club.

• John Guidetti: This guy wasn't even the Swedish equivalent to Daniel Sturridge, let alone an equivalent to Wayne Rooney. Never played for City, Guidetti would do weirdly well at Feyenoord on loan before having a spell in Spanish football, with clubs like Celta and Alavés, which is where he is today.

• Ali Ottman: Ottman would become a club legend for the Arab-Israeli club Bnei Sakhnin. Currently plays for Hapoel Qalansawe.

• Lacina Traoré: Known as "The Big Tree" for his 2,03m frame, he would play in Russian football before joining Monaco for a €14M fee. He would be loaned out to various clubs, including a disastrous spell at Everton. He last played for Bandirmaspor.

• Christian Eriksen: Don't need to say much, do I? Hope he can return in January.

• Xherdan Shaqiri: Quality role player at club level, a Swiss star at international level. Currently plays for Lyon.

• Marcus Pedersen: Another Scandinavian player that was compared to Rooney, yet he wouldn't even hold a candle to John Carew. Would flop at Vitesse before joining various lesser clubs. Currently plays for Tuzlaspor.

• Andy Najar: Of all players to compare him to, why Freddy Adu? The Honduran probably had a better career than him . He would spend most of the decade playing at Anderlecht, before returning to the MLS. Currently back at D.C. United.

• Connor Wickham: He definetely wasn't England's 2014 World Cup star, he didn't even play in that disastrous tournament they had:lol:. Currently at Preston North End.

• Yevhen Konoplyanka: This guy was a massive disappointment. He was an exciting player at Dnipro, before flopping at Sevilla, Schalke and Shakhtar, where he currently resides in their bench.

• Jonathan Urretaviscaya: If Urreta was the new Forlán, then he must've the Diego Forlán that played for Inter(not specifying which one). Currently plays for Rentistas.

• Danny Mwanga: His MLS stardom wouldn't last very long, as he would slowly disappear. A free agent since 2016.

• Bogdan Stancu: Needless to say, he wasn't Romania's next star. He would play for various Turkish clubs, such as Galatasaray, Orduspor, Gençlerbirliği, Bursaspor and Eyüpspor, which is where he plays today.

• Luis Muriel: He didn't take Europe by storm, but he is definitely one of the best super subs in the Old Continent.

• Markus Henriksen: He would do really well at AZ Alkmaar, and would enjoy some sucess at Hull City. Currently back at Rosenborg.

part 3 coming someday idk
