Interested to see if we manage to get a good look at him, sucic, and esposito. Carboni probably less so because he’d be coming back from long injury, but I’d be happy to see this be more of a “next gen” inter tournament. Most of our starters will likely be gassed so I don’t see how we go close to strongest 11 in this tournament without compromising next season.

Given the money on the table here, we might go a little easy in the easiest group game but we should go hard at the competition as a whole and accept a disrupted pre season imho

Like I said there's so much money in it you'd legit (financially) pass up the scudetto for a good run at it. Our transfer budget for the window will be decided by how we do in that tournament.

I was wondering the same thing but i don't know what rules state about it. In any case, it's unlikely he will recover before May.

With Correa and Arnautovic having expiring contracts we're in front of a crossroad for Club World Cup. Either we sign a forward very early with everything that entails (making a rush decision, paying a premium, missing on any possible market opportunities later in the market) or just bring a couple youngsters in the squad to fill the gaps. If we choose to do the latter, then Carboni and Pio are the obvious options.

Second striker is the likely position.

He is an AM as far as i know...he could be tried in the Mhiki position too and replace him one day but he played in SS position too...depends what Inzaghi needs or where he fits better
