What if they score 2 late goals?? The key is when can't sit back. We have to continue to attack but not recklessly. We can't go to sleep like we did in the first leg.

we should focus in attack, that's for sure, it's better end the second half with a 1-1 or 2-2 than 0-0.

We better start Adriano. Crespo sure as hell can't finish like Adri and he proved my point last game. 2-3 GREAT chances in the first half alone.

We need to attack in the next leg and I have to say that I believe that we will come out victorious. Any news on Cambiasso?

Crespo had always been a better finisher than Adriano no questions about it. If I had to bet on one of them to score to save my life I would go with Crespo everytime. The guy is a predator pure and simple.

Adriano maybe a more complete striker but even on current form Crespo is more likely to bury the chances you give him.

Adriano doesn't move like Crespo does. He's a power striker while Crespo has more flair, more ball control. They are similar in some aspects though and that helps the rest of the team play consistently. Crespo definitely has millions of years of experience over Adri and he can read teams more quickly. Adriano just tends to do his thing and do well, Crespo can adapt to the situation.

EDIT: CUCHU IS OUT FOR AT LEAST A MONTH... Damn... We definitely could have done without that... What's the lineup gonna look like now? Maicon and Maxwell in the back with JZ Dacourt and Grosso midfield? Won't they be stepping on each other the whole game?

It's terrible news that Cambi gonna be out for a month, and he was just back after injury:( Well Mancini said that he always put those who are in better form and i agree with it, but this is players i would like to see in form for Valencia.
J.Cesar
Maicon Cordoba Matrix Grosso
J.Zann. Dacourt Stan.
Figo
Adriano Ibra

Maybe Crespo instead of Adri but it depends if Adri is drunk that day, oh when he gonna grow up??:(

I think we all are forgetting that we need to defend well, I think we will score anyways with our attack. Even in the 1st leg, we could have avoided conceding the FK and the unability to clear the corner. We need to strangle any space their strikers get. If we do that, Im sure we will get through.

Vieira and Cambiasso out of this game, if we lose it's not going to be Valencia merit, it's going to be cause of these 2 injured players who are key mans.

Cambiasso and Viera out. I know Maxwell can play as DM, but will he be good enough? We don't even have a potential DM in our youth system. Maybe we might have to try Filkor out in the league, so he can replace Figo when he gets tired.

Maroofi is a dm but this is too big a game to thrust him into.

No problem replacing both Cambiasso and Vieira. The problem is to replace them both without including Figo in the lineup. Which is pretty much impossible. I'm contemplating the idea of this midfield in case of a certain someone is fit:

Dacourt

Stankovic - Zanetti

Recoba

He is fit at the moment but whether he stays fit and mancini is actually willing to play him is another matter.

Recoba has played in the CL already, and he had a good record this season.

1 assist :D .

I would certainly go with Figo though, and may be switch Recoba on at the 50th/ 60th minute when we are becoming desperate.

The problem is we saw what it was like without Viera and Cambiasso in the middle against Valencia.

We were just sending invitations to their players to move up straight at us in our midfield which is the main reason they got back into the game..

Also Viera and Cambiasso are two players that always come up when we need them the most and when we are truly suffering.I mean Viera's start with us came in the form of two important goals against ROma to pull us back into the game.Cambiasso has always been sending us on the road to the comeback as well and has been awesome against the big guns.

Without them we are not only losing the battle for the middle but perhaps the strong character that helped us so many times in hard games.

Vieira and Cambiasso out...:wallbang: I can't believe this luck of ours. Just when the clutch session is about to begin, our midfield, which has been our strongest point all season long, is crumbling.

I don't mind Del Horno & Vicente being fit, because they will certainly not be ready for big ame action, especially Del Horno who hasn't played for 8 months, and what he's going to be put out against Inter? not a chance. Vicente is a very good player but not totally different to Silva, when in good form he is better than Silva, but again, he is returning from injury.

Inter (even without Cambiasso & Vieira) will have the edge if Baraja does not play because this would mean one probably Viana would have to play and he would get eaten alive by JZ and Dacourt.

At the moment, I think we have to play 4-4-2. That is the way to go.

JC
Maicon Cordoba Materazzi Maxwell
Stankovic JZ Dacourt Grosso
Crespo Ibrahimovic

I think Recoba will have a major part to play in this game as well, if we're down 1-0 or struggling to get a goal, Recoba in for Grosso and switch to a 4-3-1-2.

F-ck, when I read that Cambiasso is injured, I wanted to kill someone. Honestly, as much as you guys hate it, I think figo will have to start this game for us, if we dont wanna go for some wild formation, that includes both Grosso and J.Z playing in the midfield, and Jz playing in the center of it (above -:p). But I do hope, that Mancini rests Figo in the two SERIEA games leading up to this clash, so he is not tired for this game. Otherwise I just dont like the idea of having a Solari or Recoba in our lineup.

Valencia are getting some good news. While I dont consider Baraja to be a very deadly player, Delhonro and Vincente are definetly good news for Valenica. And BTW an inform Vincente is 10 times better than Silva.

The one thing, I am really hoping for is that Flores is as big as idiot as Mancini, and decides to defend his way to victory at Mestalla. Same tactics that Mancini so unsuccesfully tried at Madrigal last year.
