Cheering for Madrid, simply to keep Liverpool out of 1st place :ROFLMAO:

Everytime I want to bitch and whine about us spending cash on someone underperforming I watch Mbappe and get over it.

Never seen a player peak at 18 :ROFLMAO:

Guardiola was always screwed without his anchor. It is his most important cog in his style of play. Without Rodri he is as fucked as he was when Busquets was unavailable. Or Xabi Alonso back in his Bayern days.
It is fairly similar for us with Hakan.
When that type of anchor is gone you lose the cover to defense, quick buildup play/tempo as well as ball recovery.
Saying this I realised that bigger players had issues covering for those named above so we should probably cut Asllani some more slack.

These will of course change so much since 3 more rounds to play. But the format makes it quite interesting to follow all the matches and the results. And in the end it's the draws between two teams in each pair which determine which side of the bracket you end up.

Looks a little savage for us either side but as you say it'll obviously change

Yes, savage part comes from the possible City/Real being there quite low in the league phase ranking.

The most brutal thing is if teams landing at 9-10th gets Real Madrid in the Knockout Playoffs. :D Not much of a prize doing well in the league phase. Assumption is Real (and City) will be better in February than how they are doing now.

Imagine if this stood and we played Arsenal/Monaco/Leverkusen/City again in the next two legs  I hope that doesn't happen

Its ridiculous that there isnt another draw after all R16 teams are found.

Im not a fan of a format where teams can try to predict and avoid by losing, probable opponents based on standings.

You talking about City? They literally won against us in the UCL final.
Meh. They won one cl. In aggregate on a per euro basis for revenue, and squad cost and values the premium league teams underperform massively.
