And what have Arsenal done in CL to be rated higher? 2 quarter finals in 15 years. That's it.
I'm talking about Inter, not Arsenal!

Arsenal is not being taken seriously either, except for their own fans and their PL hype.

There's a rivalry between Inter fans and Arsenal fans on twitter for a while. They have claimed there isn't a single Inter player who would start for Arsenal and people rate Inter only because of a lucky CL run.

Guess this match could settle the debate. :D
That's because Arsenal have won multiple CL titles in the past seasons. Oh wait ...

Curious to see how the new format will work. Generally I like the idea to play 8 different opponents.

Regarding our games - it really depends what the schedule will be but reaching knock-out stage is crucial considering our finance instability.

Does anyone have any knowledge of how to get tickets for the away end for the City game? It’s so close to me but I don’t really want to sit in the home end

Our group is really hard, these teams can kick our ass, but the new format is cooler than the previous one. Now every team has to fight in every game, and even every goal can matter. Previously, we could find out the teams in the playoffs just five minutes after the draw

Better to join Inter London, they would have allocated tickets, but you can buy in general sale I think.

First wait for tomorrow when they announce when the game happens. Usually City home games you can google and get the tickets if you are fast enough

Yea the system isn't fair and it doesn't even care about your status.

If it were one game vs a team from the same Pot then I'd get it. But it's insanse that Sturm Graz got a better draw than PSG

The way I see it, the pot is just there to make sure everyone has a fair chance to play different quality teams, so the draw won't let one team to play only pot1 teams or only pot4 teams, it is not perfect but it regulates a bit, so in theory if one truly has the quality of a pot 1 team, they should be able to make their way to round of 16.

However, there is no incentives to achieve the pot 1/2 status in the new format, which you will always want to perform in CL matches in general, but not in all UEFA competitions, which might lead to the accuracy of the pot dropping i the future.

It just doesn't give privileges for status anymore, which to me in the past the reason for having seeds is to create higher chance to see big teams play against each other in later stage, now it is letting big teams play against each other earlier but with some safeguard to help big teams to proceed if they have the quality, like the top 9-32 have another round, in case there are some randomness upsets.

The hardest part of this new format to me is a lot of prep work for the teams, as you are playing 5 more different teams, 5 more researches and match prep, and 5 more different style to adjust to, which is the fun part, different style match up.

I don't mind it really, but it's just perplexing.

Love it!

Let's get the toughest game out of the way first. If we grab something there it will be awesome. Then next two we have great opportunity to grab 6 points. Then two home games in the row which is also great schedule. 4 points would be great. Last game also at home. Man,we got this.

I have a different view. If the big teams win their first four or five matches, they will basically be qualified. What incentive would they have to perform in the last matches? I'm afraid we'll see a lot of meaningless matches in the last rounds. Hope I'll be proven wrong.

Then again, even in the previous format there were a lot of cases when the top two in the group were practically qualified after four rounds.

The way the fixtures are set up makes it quite hard to predict that's the thing. If a lot of teams have easy fixtures on the last two match days complacency could kill you

So it will be
15/9 Monza - Inter
18/9 City - Inter
22/9 Inter - Milan

Then bring it on, hopefully no one got hurt during the international break.

10 points is very minimum for 6 games in 2024 and then we are still very much in for the last two games.

Getting 4/6 wins would be awesome.

I don't know if I really love this format. Between campionato, super cup(which is now semi + final both of which are in middle east), coppa italia, nations league, fifa world qualification. Now we have another 2 games in "group stage - qual round, 8 instead of 6".

Too many games. Big alpha clubs can deal with this easily bc of $ and big benches. Italian teams, including us will have a tough time of it imo.
