They've been lucky historically, I mean they usually end up in competitive groups that they have very high chances of getting out of.

Someone will have to deal with a really tough group with Monaco and Roma likely in pot 4 with team that are better on paper than the usual pot 4 teams.

With these buys, Iturbe/Morata, it's clear RuBe want to play 4-3-3 or some variation at least in Europe. I'm not impress especially if it means one of Pogba/Vidal is out. We'll see what unfolds.

UEFA change their suspension policy for the Europa League and Champions League competitions.

Not many shocking results but Zenit lost to Limassol but only 1-0 so one has to think they can turn it around.

Celtic lost 4-1 to Legia Warsaw away.

Only watched a bit late in the game, they might be better on paper but it seemed like an even game (If I were to judge by highlights/stats). They've been poor in their previous round too, and they will play away from home aswell (Cyprus), in the 2nd leg, so, you have solid chances to qualify.
