It's gonna be a difficult game, Iaquinta and Di Natale are on fire, today they won 0-3 Parma and they are 4 in the table of Serie A.

Important games now and after the CL game vs the Russians, 22 Udine 25 Livorno and 28 Milan.

Udinese is one of the toughest teams to play on the road. The Fruili stadium hasn't seen so many Inter victories over the last few seasons. The zeberette team plays swift football that could cause our shaky defence serious problems especially with Iquienta and Di Natale's pace.

We must play a game similar to the won we played in Rome to overcome this opponent and having the like of Vieira back will help us alot. In my opinion an inform Inter can get a narrow win there, but a below par Inter could crush badly.

The team needs to be focused to get a good result.

I hope Julio Cesar doesnt make the same mistake and conceed such a weak goal. I am guessing Hernan Crespo wont be back yet right?

4-3-3 would be ideal formation for this game:

Forwards; Ibrahimovic, Crespo, Adriano
Midfeilders; Stankovic, Figo, Dacourt
Defenders; Grosso, Samuel, Cordoba, J.Zanetti
Goalkeeper: Cesar

What do you think?

Mancini has already tried out 4-3-3 when versing Cagliari, although it was only a short while, but it has already proved we lacked the strength in the middle and created a lot of hazard at the back. With Adriano, Crespo, Ibra standing upfront doing nothing, our defenders failed in a couple of occassions to contain the pressure from our opposition.

We better test out formations in Italian Cup, can't afford it in Serie A.

You are 100% right.

The 4-3-3 formation is not suitable for the current Inter beside I don't Crespo will be ready for the Udinese game. I remember last season's match when Cruz scored our winning goal and at the current form it would be better to start Adriano & Cruz in the attack since Ibrahimovic look out of sorts and probably will be suspended for this one after being caught spitting at Catania's defender Sottil.

Like you said a short while isnt enough, 4-3-3 would work with a more disciplined midfield. The forwards wont become useless with a strong 3 man midfield that can support such good strikers. We all know that any one of those 3 available forwards can finish and working together can provide magical opportunities. Now it is also true that we cant risk this new strategy in seria a i believe it can work.

4-4-2 at the moment isnt working too well, at least we are at the top of the table :)

some russian websites are telling that Zlatan is going to be banned for 3 games for spitting. Any proven articles on this?

Channel 4 claims the same. Its all due to the precedent left by Samuel's ban. All I can say is that Zlatan is hot headed turd, he is not playing footbal he just wants to get into some BIFF, Well not here monkey face!!

Friuli has always been a very tough ground for us. Apart from the win last season when Cruz scored the solitary goal of the match, I can't remember any other victory in that stadium.

Udinese has been our boogey team in the past too. It always takes something special to beat them in Serie A, as far as I can remember. Combine this with the fact that they are in very fine form this season, expect a very tough match.

yup i really hope udinese get all the points considering milans 1 - 1 draw with samp .. which allowed inter to increase the gap to 10 points ..... but lets not worry about inter yet lets focus on moving up the table ......

Dacourt and Vieira in central midfield
Deki and Solari on wings
Cruz/Recoba/Crespo choose 2 of them who are fit and play them

Adriano to come of the bench

Materazzi to mark Iaquinta-without problems:)

I mentioned in an earlier post that we need to play a smart game. Our game plan must be like the one we used in Rome because Udinese is a fast team that like to attack in numbers.

We need to stay compact and hit them on the counter. They will be missing some key players especially in defence (Natali, Filipe & Muntari), but nevertheless I expect a tough away game as ever.

My ideal line up for this one:

------------------Cesar--------------------

Maicon----Cordoba----Materazzi----Zanetti

Stankovic----Vieira----Dacourt----Solari-----

------------Ibrahimovic----Cruz-------------

I'll put on Recoba & Crespo later in the second half.

I dont think it is
Only problem would be to see Adriano-Ibra partnership, or Recoba-Ibra

Recoba-Adriano/Crespo/Cruz
Ibra-Crespo/Cruz
Adriano-Cruz/Crespo

Cruz and Crespo can play with all of them

Ibra - Crespo is one I like the most -when they are 100% fit

But seams like Ibra will rest few games cause of spitting...let's wait and see
