Man City signed Balotelli, which increased Beşitkaş's chances on Robinho and Adebayor significantly.. :) I felt bad for Inter though, i really liked him. Balotelli even caused me to dislike Totti for a moment first time in my life. :p

Now i hope that City buys Zlatan aswell, so that we can get one of the players above easier..

Stunbel, you are a very decent and reasonable fan we all know that, but do you really believe that Robinho or Adebayor will sign for beşiktaş? Those 2 men are creations of Turkish media. I just laugh. Bellamy would be more realistic than those 2 guys.

I am a galatasaray fan locally (which sucks big time this year, as Galatasaray will have zero titles), I follow our league but those 2 players will not arrive in neither Beşiktaş, Fenerbahce or Galatasaray. Sad, but true mate.

Besides, I did NOT watch Beşiktaş's first game against Buca, but I have a feeling that your team has an UNBALANCED team, too offensive tactically and as names. I expect some groupings inside the team ala Fenerbahce's brazilians.

Last, Guti and Quaresma were bought ONLY to please the fans. They may work tactically for the offense in the future maybe, but the aim was to please people.

Edit: Oops: Wrong thread mods. Supposed to post in Turkish Super League

Hi 777, i agree with most of your post. But there are some things you are missing imho.

Firstly, about Quaresma and Guti transfers. Beşiktaş (ÇARŞI) wanted Quaresma for months long, and board might have signed him only to please the fans, that might be true. Nevertheless Quaresma showed that he was the perfect signing for us. We definitely needed a good winger, a good attacking player who can do well on 1on1s and improve our attacking force drastically. Quaresma is a perfect signing for our needs, so wheter the board transfered him just to please the fans or not, they did well imo.
And you know pretty much how Delgado and Tabata performs as our "playmakers". For years long, we struggled as hell to get the ball into the opposite side and use the ball cleverly. We simply sucked on creating attacks. So imo a playmaker transfer was a good idea aswell and Guti who costed nothing but his wages is a great signing too, despite his age (33). However, we should already get rid of 1 of Tabata or Delgado..

So i am after both those signings. Also Ersan (DC) and Cenk (GK) were clever moves by us aswell, and would be perfect if we could sign a decent Turkish Right Back aswell. I can't find any reason that makes sense about Hilbert transfer though.. And as you know, last year we were the team that conceded least goals in league, though our goal scored statistics were beyond pathetic which was the only reason for our failure imo. So keeping the defensive players here and improving offence sounds very reasonable to me.

Now, about team unbalance between players and groupings inside.. This is what fears me most, honestly.. I watched the team closely since Quaresma joined and without exception everyone seems ok with them, our players looks like they tolerate Quaresma's selfishness. You might remember Serhat Akın from Fenerbahçe, he is a friend of mine and he told me alot about groupings inside Fenerbahçe at Ortega times.. That is such thing that can drive a team to a complete failure. But i trust Schuster about handling this kind of situations, i'm pretty optimistic about his player handling skills. Let's see what future will bring and keep our fingers crossed..

And lastly, Robinho and Adebayor transfers. Those 2 men are definitely not the creations of Turkish Media. Beşiktaş transfer Board (Yıldırım Demirören, Serdal Adalı, Cengiz Zülfikaroğlu) were in UK 2 days ago and they officialy stated that they started pre-negotiations with Man City about Robinho and Adebayor. So whether they come or not, those are the players we are officially interested in. Now, to be realistic, i wouldn't even consider joining Beşiktaş or any other Turkish team if i were in Robinho's or Adebayor's place, thats for sure.. However, the expectations are sky-high at the moment and i'm pretty sure Beşiktaş will do anything to convince one of them. And as realistic targets, Altidore or Carew sounds good enough to me. And again, no matter they join us or not we are officially interested with them.

Yes, exactly. :) I watched that game aswell and was a pleasure to watch them play that badly :p I really hope they don't perform like this in Europe though..

Who scored for Besiktas?

Bobo scored at 15th second of 2nd half with Guti's great assist on his debut. :)

You can watch the goal here:

And quaresma was man of the match as always, he simply shows that he is the best on the pitch every single game. However he sucked so hard on "finishing".. Quaresma and we as a team spent lots of chances for nothing though...

It feels really nice reading The777's and Stunbel's posts here. I've been very uninformed about the Turkish League but now at least there are some insights to it, rather than the usual typical Turkish ramblings in Forza Inter. (Pardon the stereotype)

Good goal. So do you think Besiktas has what it takes to win the league? Has there been any more news about the man city targets? I read earlier that bellemy would be a more realistic target for Besiktas but Bellemy gave an interview recently saying that he would only move to another club in the UK so I would think adebyor and robinho are now more realistic.

Beşiktaş is favourite to win the league this season by all sources, i'm hundred percent confident of the league title this season. You can't know what will happen in 34games period though..

And about transfers, Bellamy is a no go for us aswell, we don't need a player like him, nor a player like Robinho. (He is more than welcomed aswell though, as i said before :) ) What we should go for is Adebayor for sure, and if we fail to get him, then Carew or Altidore will be the Plan B. Current rumors says that Fenerbahçe also interested in Robinho. On SkyBet they changed bet rates again, showing Fenerbahçe for favourite to get him, Beşiktaş in 2nd place and then Inter in 3rd. It really won't make me sad if Robinho goes to Fenerbahçe, but will be a disappointment for Beşiktaş fans if we can't sign Adebayor either. We should be thankful with the transfers done so far but you know, you don't want it to come to an end when you start transferring that kind of players.. :)

Fenerbahçe will play against Antalyaspor at home tonight, i will post todays results aswell.

Were beskitas favourites before they brought in guti and RQ? Wonder what your reaction on these forums would be if Beskitas win it.

I don't think robinho wants to go anywhere but ack to brazil so that could be good news in that galatasary wouldn't get him. Adebyor is definately a best bet. If besiktas get him then I can imagine them ramming the goals home. If city are unwilling to let him go will aston villa let Carew go? I havent heard that much about him or any of the villa players lately apart from milnar. I'll be honest with you, I think altidore is scary as he was very inconsistant for Hull and didn't convert alot of the chances he got.

Keep me posted on the game tonight ;)

Beşiktaş had a chance before Q7 and Guti, but those players were just the ones we needed (position-wise especially) so after those transfers we are considered as favourites by a big margin by all sources, team plays very good at the moment, even 5 times better than 2 years ago when we won double (League&Cup titles).

Our reaction for winning Super League won't be extraordinary to be honest. Everyone is truly expecting it and it will be a insane disappointment for all of us if we can't. On ÇARŞI Forums we only talk about Europe League and thinking about our title chances at there, and if we happen to win the title there, then you will see the true meaning of excitement! :)

Only 2 weeks left for transfer season to end, i will just hush and see what will happen.. I just hope we can get a very good Target Man.

Sunday Results of Turkish Super League:

FT Ankaragucu 0 - 2 Trabzonspor
FT Karabukspor 2 - 1 Manisaspor
FT Fenerbahce 4 - 0 Antalyaspor

From now on i will highlight Trabzonspor's games aswell since they are considered more favourites than Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray by many sources, a 2nd place finish for them won't be a surprise this season.

With "no spoilers" do you mean "a video without telling score on title or elsewhere"? I actually don't know any, and as i post results here instantly so it probably will spoiled anyway :p

If you can, i advice you to watch games live. I suggest you to watch especially Big teams games (and especially Beşiktaş's :p) so you won't get bored, because i can't say the quality of football being played between other teams are attractive..
You can always check the fixture here: http://www.tff.org/default.aspx?pageID=487
And watch the games here: http://www.atdhe.net

Keep in mind that there is 1 hour difference between Turkish time and CET.

Mm well.. If you can't be arsed to watch whole game but still willing to watch highlights without spoilers, i think i can do something for you.. It takes 1hour~ after the game until you can find highlights on youtube. I can download them and then upload them for you and then pm you via this forums (or msn/skype if you wish). So you can watch the highlights without spoilers.. But since it's messy, please pick 1 game or 2 weekly for me to upload for you.. :)

Hmm, I did not know that your president officially revealed Adebayor and Robinho. Thanks mate.

By the way, your pres has also said that we have asked for one of your players. Who do you think he can be? Any ideas?

I couldn't get your question mate.. Please be more spesific about "we" and "your" parts :) But to be honest, there are 2 Turkish players in Turkish Super League that can play in European top clubs:

Arda Turan (AMC) of Galatasaray and
Gökhan Gönül (RB) of Fenerbahçe.

Edit: There is also Necip Uysal (19yo MC) and Muhammed Demirci (15yo AMC) of Beşiktaş but those players won't be sold for sure unless they offer an insane amount like 25m+.

We: Inter You: Beşiktaş

Imo, Arda can not cut in big European leagues except Spain. He needs to improve physically to play in Italy and England. Gökhan Gönül can make it however. Actually, if Maicon has gone, I would think Gökhan could have replaced him, even though not 100% currently as Maicon is a beast.

Mm well, in my opinion Maicon is the best RB in the World currently. However, if he goes Gökhan Gönül would play well if he can perform as he does in Fenerbahçe now. Just check Quaresma and you will get what i mean. :) He has got what it takes, but it is a complete different feeling to play in top teams of Europe.

By the way first week of Turkish Super League is completed. Here you can check the results and standings.
