A lot depends on how far the team advance in the Euro. Klose will be my choice.

If it wasn't Luca Toni, then something is wrong (like Lippi being stupid enough to play Gilardino instead of Toni in some games).

Rooney

I'd say David Villa(if Spain proceeds at least to the semis)

C.Ron and Ibra, I think their chances depends on how well their teams play.

But if I had to bet it would be Toni...

Christiano Ronaldo will not be challenged for top scorer. I don't think Ibra will be in top form after this injury. I don't think Toni will get as much playing time as he would need.

Oh man, two days ago, I spent like three hours on betfair, but still couldn't decide who to go for. The obvious choice for me would be Luca Toni, but it depends on how far Italy would go in to the tournament.

Odds of each player.

Luca Toni (ITA) 9.00
Cristiano Ronaldo (POR)9.00
Fernando Torres (ESP)9.00
Miroslav Klose (GER)10.00
Mario Gomez (GER)13.00
David Villa (ESP)15.00
Ruud Van Nistelrooy (NED)16.00
Thierry Henry (FRA)17.00
Lukas Podolski (GER)17.00
Mladen Petric (CRO)23.00
Antonio Di Natale (ITA)26.00
Karim Benzema (FRA)26.00
Nicolas Anelka (FRA)29.00
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (SWE)29.00
Michael Ballack (GER)34.00
Robin van Persie (NED)34.00
Alessandro Del Piero (ITA)34.00
Pavel Pogrebnyak (RUS)34.00
Nihat Kahveci (TUR)41.00
Klaas Jan Huntelaar (NED)41.00
Jan Koller (CZE)41.00
Kevin Kuranyi (GER)41.00
Henrik Larsson (SWE)51.00
Theofanis Gekas (GRE)51.00
Adrian Mutu (ROU)51.00
Milan Baros (CZE)51.00
Daniel Guiza (ESP)51.00
Alexander Frei (SUI)51.00
Nuno Gomes (POR)51.00
Rafael Van Der Vaart (NED)51.00
Johan Elmander (SWE)67.00
Ricardo Quaresma (Por)67.00
Tuncay Sanli (TUR)67.00
Franck Ribery (FRA) 67.00
Fabio Quagliarella (ITA)81.00

If I knew Italy were going to the semis, I would have easily gone for Toni. But there are chances that Italy may get kicked out of the group stage, thats why I am afradi to bet on Toni.
If Delpiero keeps up his league form, (which he never does for Italy), then he'll havea good chance as well.

C.Ronaldo will have a good Euro, but I cant see him being the top scorer. Quaresma has a better chance of doing that than him.

I think Klose could be a good bet, Germany are in an easy group. But Klose isnt in that good of a scoring form.

Villa and Torres both have an equal chance, but I wont go for them. Firstly Spain always suck in Euros, secondly Aragones only plays one striker upfront, so both of them wont get that much time to play.

I would go with two Munich forwards Toni and Klose. Mario Gomez could also be a good bet, he is 22, has been in superb form for Stuttgart, and is sure to start for them.
