The Milanese derby is confirmed on a Saturday fixture, 21st September.

I find it incredible that there are less than 2 weeks and they can't confirm a date for the game. I payed 170 euros for 2 tickets and i still don't know if i will see the game. I watched games in Madrid, Barcelona etc. but i didn't meet such a situation anywhere. Probably i will take my chances and throw another 200 euros for plain tickets and hotel, and come on Saturday.

Yeah you're right I meant 3 weeks.

But it still amazes me that the need to confirm allmost every match in the coming weeks. Why does it have to take so long?

I went to the derby last year, but a friend of my dad has a Milan fan card and we got the tickets through that way.

Hey guys, I'll be going for the game on Saturday vs Udinese. It will be my first ever live match although I've already visited the empty San Siro twice. So I have some questions which I hope you nice folks could answer.

Our hotel (in Balsamo) is a 20min car drive away from the stadium, so we're considering going there by car. Is this a bad idea? How about the parking spots; are there enough for a night expecting 60k+ spectators? Would we have to get there earlier to avoid traffic?

Any tips are appreciated!

Traffic will be very bad. I usually arrived 1 hour before kick off and parking was always full. there aren't lots of parking around as far as i remember. Best bet will be to arrive few hours early to get a parking spot.

Find a park in the residential area a little walk down the strip. There's a park and residential area, maybe 5-7min walk outside of the stadium (heading back to milano city). That way you finish the game, and can avoid most of the traffic.

Realistically, for udinese game, we'd be about 40-50k fans so won't be that bad. Not like a derby or juve game with full 80k.

I guess asking it in italian forums might bring you some better answers, but from my experience with a car in Milan I would reccomend you park the car in a parking spot close to Milan metro and just contiuing with a metro line. Anyway, as last reports say there should be ~60k fans for this match.

I think it's near impossible. I believe you have to show your fan card to sit in the Inter away section.
