I dont understand how Zhang/Suning can take the legal route.

My assumption, and I have always said, is that this conglomerates was unlikely to pay the asking price ($1Bil) because of this is the exact reason. Zhang if he were to sell had to meet the market.
Oaktree will sell with the best offer and fair market value on open market I assume Inter will be sold between 500/700M.
