You don't overachieve against Barcelona, you do it against Chievo (Perisic) and Genoa (Gagliardini). Sensi was very likely just too eager to come back and felt the pressure to contribute. He will shake the rust off within a match or two, I'm sure of this. He doesn't strike me as someone whose confidence shatters this easily. He might be small in stature but he has grinta in his mentality for sure.

Let's just hope he will regain his ball feeling quickly and bounce back as a top player he was in the beginning. It feels good to have a few top quality options in the midfield now. There is plenty of matches to be played ahead of the season so Conte should be less worried in this area.

Didn't like his decision making lately as well, but hopefully soon he will just transform himself into the deadly Sensi he was earlier.

In the second half vs Cagliari he showed that not only he can but also desperately wants to get back to the level before his injury. We had no depth and we forced an injured player to step on the field... show some respect please.

Somehow I'm fairly sure he'll be ok with serving as a rotation player in a team that's competing for Scudetto, EL and Coppa.

In 2010, we had Stankovic, Motta, Cambiasso, Zanetti, Sneijder and Muntari for a 4-1-2-1-2 / 4-2-3-1 formation, with Motta, Stankovic and Muntari being rotated most often, and I can't remember either of them bitching about being rotated.

This is exactly why Eriksen has to start asap and has to find into our system and gel with the other players on the fly. It‘s unfortunate this guy can‘t stay healthy for more than a week.
