16 year old Kendry Páez danced all over Uruguay the other night on his debut for the NT. Became the youngest debutant ever and second youngest south american to play for his NT behind Maradona. Also became the youngest ever to assist a goal in SA WC qualifiers

haha Brazil is in 5th place they tied Venezuela away then lost to Uruguay at home 2-0 then just lost to Colombia yesterday 2-1.

I saw their roster and it is crazy young. I think they are just trying to develop a team and with 6.5 spots for 10 teams and 1-2 teams that don't really even exist in Peru/Boliva(fine I know Peru got to the play off but Colombia and Chile as well as most of the SA teams last quailers just weren't scoring goals and tying every fking game)

5 games in
Peru is out - they have 0 good players and are in last place with 1 point. They lose to Venezuela next game and its pretty much officially over for them
Bolivia is out - 0 good players and they are all like 5'3. Their home stadium isn't as scary as it once was. Teams just bring younger players or players can breathe in high altitude to win.
Chile/Paraguay to me are the next weakest. Chile just hasn't replaced their golden generation.

I mean I hate Uruguay..... like with a passion but they are freaking scary especially now with Bielsa.

Dude Brazil is in 6th place

1 point below Venezuela which most of you didn’t even know played futy haha

2 points below Ecuador who started with -3 points for using a Colombian player all of last qualifiers and almost getting booted out of the world cup

After 6 games all I can say is the level in South America is fking painful to watch. Teams are only on for like 3 minutes then shut off.

Colombia should have score 50 on Paraguay and missed 70 shots. Brazil in the 1st 10 minutes could have scored 20 on Colombia but just made 1 goal

A lot of these games are 1-0 bore fest or everyone is fking diving.

Not sure who is worse right now Brazil or Germany :)

When it was 5 spots teams needed 25 points to qualify

So Argentina with 15, Uruguay with 13 and Colombia with 12 points in 6 games out of 18. Are pretty much qualified with 6.5 spots

Colombia needs to beat Bolivia and Peru twice.

6.5 spots for 10 teams is insane

I think the problems of Brasil are uncertainty of coaching spot and the crop of generation after Neymar is so so, they would qualify anyway with more slots for WC but they’re so disappointed right now.

Tying to Venezuela for them is bad losing to Uruguay away isn’t that bad of a result. Even losing to Colombia away it’s like 100 degrees in that stadium and Diaz was is super Saiyan mode since he had just gotten his dad back.

Also losing to Argentina it’s not like it was a blow out or they played that much worse.

The level of South American teams is worst than watching the mls. Not sure if these guys are just jet lagged all coming from Europe but all these games are worst than watching little kids play that aren’t yours and you don’t love

"During the Argentina-Brazil match on Tuesday, TV images showed Brazil forward Rodrygo in a heated discussion with former Paris Saint-Germain star Lionel Messi and midfielder Rodrigo de Paul. This behavior from Messi didn’t sit well with RMC Sport pundit and former PSG player Jérôme Rothen. The French football pundit sounded off on the veteran for how he conducted himself with the Brazilian. “Once again, I am not surprised by their attitude,” Rothen said on RMC Sport (h/t Le10Sport). “It’s been a long time. Except that the World Cup reinforced them in this behavior. They are world champions, and we congratulate them for that. Messi’s team, you had to give it to Messi… He got it very well. “We remember very well that they were able to benefit at times from the famous 12th man. What is certain is that this is not the best team in the world. (…) In terms of behavior, they are number one in taking themselves for others.” The altercation had consequences on social media. After the game, Rodrygo reported that he had been the target of racist comments on social media. On Thursday, he shared his experience through posts on Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter). Furthermore, this wasn’t the only time that Messi made news during the international break with Argentina. The 2022 FIFA World Cup winner scolded PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte for his behavior against De Paul during the Uruguay-Argentina match. Ugarte confronted De Paul with an NSFW gesture, and Messi noted that players like the 22-year-old on the Uruguayan squad need to learn to follow the elders on the team, referring to Luis Suárez."

Totally agree for Messi & co. They are bunch of dirty cheaters, with complex being little midgets so they just love to bully everyone.
