It may seem ages ago and this statement might seem an oxymoron now but Adriano won us the Coppa Italia that season. Yes, this very same Adriano scored twice at the Olimpico and it was game, set and match after that.

And I'm not gonna whine anymore and I'll just respect his work as our assistant coach. :)

Dude, your humor-o-meter is probably broken, and your argument-o-meter is in overdrive.

Take a chill pill, man. :D

7 goals and 11 assists in 2 seasons, what's so good about that? Considering the defensive liability that he was, it was not worth it.

We sold Adani because of him and Gamarra, who was superb as a sub the season before, was reduced to playing just 6 matches in 04/05 before being let go of.

He's doing a great job as an assistant coach though.

Letting go of Adani was a big mistake back then. He was a great defender. Gamarra as well. He would've played more at any other club than Inter. Ok, perhaps a few exceptions. But Gamarra and Adani were severely underrated.

I've always highly rated Lele Adani for many reasons (including his last name :D), he also used to score many goals, the best one was against JuBentus in that stupid coppa Italia game (ref.), but thanks to Vieri, we lost it. And thanks to Mancini, the zebras didn't manage to win that cup. :D

However, Mihajlovic was a very good player with us. Except his speed, I thought he was a good defender too. His best defensive game was against the zebras, when Cruz scored in our 1-0 win in Torino.

Players who came to his farewell game in Novi Sad showed how big he is.

BTW he only played one season, the second he played very little, and was injured long time,so for 20 and something games 7 goals and 11 assists is very good!

Respect for Mihajlovic, the guy deserves much more than being an assistant manager at Inter. He deserves a fking medal for all those free kicks :)

I found some poll for The Free Kick Specialists, and it's funny to me that Backham is first for now,he is awesome but not close to Mihajlovic

Sinisa tipped for Serb post Wednesday 5 September, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sinisa Mihajlovic could be given the bench of the Serbian national side and continue to work as Inter’s assistant manager, according to reports.
It is rumoured that the former Lazio defender is being lined up to take charge of his country’s international football team for the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.

There are even claims that Mihajlovic could take the job as early as the end of this season if they fail to reach Euro 2008.

He has been Mancini’s assistant manager since last season, helping Inter to the Scudetto and Italian Super Cup.

According to newspaper ‘Tuttosport’ and some Serbian media outlets, Mihajlovic could well remain as Inter assistant manager during the first year of his tenure as an international Coach.

Then his place at San Siro would be taken by another former Lazio star, Dario Marcolin.

Serbia appointed Spaniard Javier Clemente on July 19, 2006 – their first ever foreign Coach even during their previous incarnations as Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro – but the team lag in fourth place in Group A.
