We dominated and wasted clear chances, and we finally lost. Somebody says it's not on the coach. Ok, I'd agree if it's only one game. But, it's not. It happens quite often. Dominating, creating chances, wasting them and then losing. We dropped points in the games where we were dominated too. Players look so distant one from another. Mkhitaryan doesn't like to pass to Lukaku. Dumfries passed only to Lukaku first half and no one else. Barella is only shouting, waving hands, and playing as shit whole season. I've seen not for first time, that somebody (mainly Barella) is shouting on Dumfries, and the latter just turned his back with grumpy face. Brozo looks like puppet. Correa is a fucking ghost.
The defense is a joke since August, unfortunately the attack as well. No concentration, no team work and support, maybe and no motivation as well.

All of this is on the coach in my opinion. He needs to go, because our chances for top 4 are very slim now, and our chance to win CL is even slimmer.

Hopefully now all fans who adore Inzaghi "attacking" football could see that this is a Lazio-level coach.

Jesus Christ people called me an elderly living in the past when I quoted his 5-year record at Lazio as a foreseeable warning.

Some of us had highlighted his weaknesses from day one but we only received mockery.

We didn't have systemic issues per se today. We generated enough chances, tons of chances and good attacks. Lack of good decisions with the ball and then just pure finishing was missing. That's one thing. Can't put that on the coach. That's our players being just fucking idiots all over the place. And Lukaku, man, don't get me started.

But team giving up like this? That's unacceptable. That's partly on the coach too. Players and the coach. That's just unacceptable, in front of the home crowd. They should be ashamed of themselves.

They created tons of chances and good attacks too. It is so stupid trying to "exchange" sitters with the opponent; Inzaghi should be fully aware that our front line is full of chokers with legs of woods. Switch to a more defensive mindset.

When something happens on a daily basis that's on the coach no matter how you twist it.

Agreed. There's nothing Marotta hates more than firing the coach midseason.
Sadly he hasn't done it for 20 years. Last time it happened was with zampa as the owner as well, so likely it wasn't even his decision.

Achieving CL quarters is just an excuse for sticking with him. Even if we had been out of CL, he's got the safest coaching job in the league cause we don't wanna pay for his sacking (well we ain't Bayern).

when you kep saying "we won coppa, we won supercoppa" to these players who have won the league not long ago you make their mentality regress. Players are not respecting him anymore. I'm sure they will give their all to pass Benfica, but in the league, they will continue bringing damage to Inzaghi's reputation to make sure he is goner by summer.

And normally I don’t like it either.

But we have to do something, because there’s a lot at stake right now. We could finish outside the top-6 and we don’t want to know what that’s going to mean.

For how long will we fall for "we had chances"?

I can, because it's not only this game. We dominated Jube, Samp, many others and still lost points. There is a big lack of concentration in this group, not only in attack but at defense as well.
For me, this is on the coach.

Yes, the lack of spirit and fighting back is on the coach. But we generate so many chances, good attacks etc. that ruining those is on the players. Ie. our system is not failing but the lack of belief, fight back is failing.

If Inzaghi has lost the locker room he needs to go. I haven't seen many of the players "down tools" rather they don't seem to have any "tools" in the first place. Who could be the interim coach to right the ship to secure a CL spot and advance against Benefica? Probably no one. Think Inter and us fans should be prepared for securing a Europa league spot this season. Then get a new coach, start from scratch, hopefully with new ownership that isn't into "sport washing". The latter, maybe asking too much.
