Someone has to explain why Inzaghi is at fault for the following:

- versus Udinese, Skriniar’s own goal and De Vrij conceding an unnecessary corner, which directly lead to Udinese´s winner:

- misplaced passes in midfield, which lead to team conceding equalizers against Roma and Ac Milan;

- Handanovic’s howler v Roma and not coming out of his line for Anderson’s goal in Lazio’s game. Also need to blame Bastoni and Dimarco for that one.

If you take away these individual errors, where would the team be in the table?

Inzaghi is at fault for his selection absolutely (waiting till Roma to start Asllani, overplaying Dzeko) and for not sticking with Onana as a starter but the players are making amateur mistakes.
He picked handa and he subbed de vrij on when he needs to be chasing a win. Them making errors afterwards is partly on him as they can't make those mistakes from the bench.

His boy gags who no one else would start also has a part in the lazio error as he lost sms for the assist.

The players have a lot of blame as well but inzaghi has the responsibility to get them performing.

For year and half his decisions for substitutions are also discutable.

We have a draw a line where the last player to make a mistake is the one at fault. The Roma equalizer is a good example, where Hakan plays a dangerous ball to Barella who fails to control( mistake) and 1-2 passes and it’s a goal. Although, 2 players before Handanovic made a mistake( although I don’t consider the Hakan pass to be a mistake) the causal mistake for the goal has to be on Handanovic.

All 3 are at fault. If you want to assign blame: handa 75%, barella 15% and hakan 10%.

I don't and won't blame Inzaghi for not winning Scudetto while Suning has weakened the team every year. But if we can't get to top 4, it's Inzaghi's failure and he would deserve the sack. And things don't look good for him right now. Other teams have strengthened over the summer while Inter is weaker than last year. I can imagine Napoli, Milan and Juve finish above us, as bad as Juve have been, they are above us in the table atm and when Chiesa and Pogba are back, they will be much stronger. So we may have to compete with Roma, Atalanta and Lazio for the last spot.

I'm not a fan of Lukaku but he's Inzaghi's only hope right now, a firing Lukaku can help us get top 4. Our management bet everything on Lukaku in the summer anyway.

Looking at the team right now, maybe a possible fix is switching to a back 4. We don't have great WBs and 3 solid CBs anymore. So why stick with 3-5-2? I think 4-4-2 with a diamond midfield is the best formation for the current squad. It won't be easy to change tactics midseason but really, I don't see hope with 3-5-2.

The formation won't change unless Inzaghi is sacked. Even then, I doubt a caretaker would be courageous enough.

IMO that chance was much better than to attribute 75% of the goal to Handa. He was poor there and should have catched it but he chance was good. If Dybala slotted it better (he can do such thing) it would have been much more other's fault than Handa's. So I'm putting more more percentage on Barella being reckless receiving the ball. Can't do that at that position on the pitch. Those are the mistakes which basically put us in danger in our games typically.

It really depends on the coach. For example, when Mancini replaced Mazzarri the first thing he did was dropping back 3. Anyway, it's not like we can play many different formations. Current squad can only play two formations: 3-5-2, 4-3-1-2.

Let's not blame whomever let Dybala free in the box...

Agree, similarly to how vs Milan Hakan gave a reckless pass towards the middle, but Brozo maybe could've handled it better iirc.

Yeah though IMO in that instance it was Hakan who simply gave a poor pass. Receiver was De Vrij who just couldn't reach it. Against Roma Barella could have got it if he wasn't so careless

Hilarious if that's the decision :D

But also would be kind of smart. There's a bit more time between this match and Sassuolo than Roma and this match. But would it be Stankovic then?

Stankovic seems destined for Sampdoria. There are rumours about Paulo Sousa but i hope they're bs.

i think they did hope Inzaghi improves thing after international break but Roma match was so bad now they’re in process finding replacement.
