How quickly people forget how dominant we were last season against big teams. And now it's Inzaghi's fault that Lautaro couldn't shoot properly for the whole game.

If you are a true supporter, support. If you can go to the games, go and cheer them on the whole game. I grow weary of forum analytics that don't stand with the team even in bad times. And these are mildly bad times, not banter times or Serie B times. By all means, show your criticisms, but don't just aimlessly shit on everybody.

Forza Inter, forza Inzaghi. I believe.

If we win a trophy this year it will be a miracle . I want to believe there's atleast 1 for us this season. Im not asking 3 like 09/10. Its impossible.

Poor excuses. They missed chances too
We missed 3 big chances they didn’t miss a single one. They scored from their only big chance. Our XG + Posession was significantly higher. Everything indicates we played better and they were lucky to leave the match with a draw let alone a fucking win

Guess it's just ok we haven't beaten a single rival this season, our 9m a year striker hasn't scored in a single big game aside from the super friendly final, and we should just keep smiling like it's all good

We've averaged 1.3 points per game against big rivals. Lovely.

It’s so fucking weird seeing an inzaghis cult or something on this forum. Yes inzaghi is at fault for our poor results against top teams. Yes inzanghi is a spineless fuck who can say no when our management is shovering a hypothetical Taremi down his throat during the mercato. Yes we deserve better than this

You deserve nothing. You are not playing. The players and Inzaghi deserve good reinforcements, but fickle fans don't deserve shit. Maybe that's the problem, some of you don't understand that things change fast in football and it's not as easy to win as some of you make it seem. Especially with us winning last season in such a dominant fashion, now everybody wants to stop us.

Somebody decided that 1 Scudetto in 4 years is not enough and now this will be what defines the Inzaghi era? We all want to win all the trophies. I'm sure the players also want to win all the trophies... but it's not just that easy as some of you make it seem. Players are in form one month and then lose that form, players get injured, players get older. We have the oldest squad in Serie A right now.

What you expect from them is not always the reality. You can't demand winning all derbies but also acknowledging that our bench is horrible. Somewhere we'll fall short...and currently we are. It makes sense to me.

The summer can't come soon enough :)

I’m feeling bad for you if you don’t think you deserve more as an Inter fan and you want to come up with all kinds of excuses to justify what’s happening.

Also saying this summer that ours mercato was fine and that others are panick buying.. Also L take. Owners, management fucked this big time. And Limone being quiet on that matter also. Plus I can understand why he always plays Lautaro, cause we have no alternative for him. Yea, we are that shit, unfortunately.. But how for a change try something else in the midfield. Give Zielinski his chance, not just garbage minutes. Its obvious that our midfield is being whiped vs any other stronger team in the league. Hakan is in poor form and Mhiki couldnt start in any other relevant team in CL except us. There is no plan B. Sorry Limone I like you but this reeks a one trick pony issue.

I'm getting from this Inter more than I expected from the start of this season. I'm not going to move the goalpost to 2025 Trippletta.

That is why I'm not panicking. I might be disappointed in our transfer strategies and disappointed in some of our players, but mostly I still feel Inzaghi is the right fit for us and most of our starters will still be important for us for the next 3 seasons at least (except for Sommer, Acerbi and Mkhitaryan).

The only thing missing now is a really good summer transfer window. And I don't need new star players, we already have those, except if we are selling Thuram or Lautaro, then we need one.

Imagine if this guy has to play 2 more games vs bbilan in coppa and 2 more vs them or jube in CL

5 games vs them this season, zero wins, three losses, one game draw after 4-2 lead, one loss after 2-0 lead, one barely draw after scoring in 92'. I don't remember Inter being this mentally weak in so many derbies in one season.

We'll just have to wait and see. I am not even disappointed, at this point. Except nothing till the rest of the season.

This people need to calm the fuck down....
2 points from first and 4th afer the CL league phase is not bad, only real problem is that we have not won any big matches against our biggest rivals otherwise we re still prety much on course despite not playing to great...
i really really hope we dont draw either juve or milan in the CL. I have 0 confidence we'd win those right now.
Talking about a loser mentality...

yeah, the players in the team do have a loser mentality right now, that's correct.

Given we've not beaten either Milan or Juve so far in the season, and they seem to have our number every time we play them, its just fucking evidence-based that we'd probably struggle to beat them, not a loser mentality my brother. Or are you a guy who likes to jump into memecoins after losing everything 5x over on the last 5 rug pulls?

It is worring. Its not a loser's mentality , but reality. We F suck in derbies this year. 2L and 2X .

The last Milan derby we played so good imo, didnt let Milan do their thing with Leao and Pulisic, they were put on mute the whole match ( Leao made the 1-0, but that was his only highlight) still managed to earn a point 1 minute from the end.

Then comes another derby. Oh, maybe the guys have learned and really show an effort, afterall they have rested and prepped for full week without any midweek match like Juve.

And they give fans that 2nd half performance Even smaller clubs have shown more courage in 2nd halves vs Motta, earned plenty of comebacks and we can't even have a single shot on target.

We are rightly worried about the UCL elimination , because the blueprint to play against us has been exposed and all the smart coaches seem to use it now.

There's a significant irony that last year's big game champion in inzaghi is basically probably the worst performing big game manager this year.

Why not to go in Suning or Oaktree thread and criticise them, for a change? We get it.

Don't have one.
Regarding our form in big matches this season, I seem to remember last season we were much more patient and conservative in our approach than this season when playing our biggest rivals. Don't know why that is, either players can't be bother with last season discipline or inzaghi tweaked something.

And the reason I mentioned all this is the fact that inzaghi teams when they start to fail they don't fail like most teams with lack of creativity or bland football. Creativity and flair in his football is always there, but when things start going downhill is when we start to play high risk football where one mistake is costing us the game, and we saw that in almost every defeat and lost points this season. Not to mention, that was his trademark here in the first couple of seasons as well. That's why this recent trend is so worrying to me, we are literally slowly but surely reverting to inzaghi ball from two or three years ago.

Last night game was a good example of that, we just blew our load in the first half, and we were dead in the second. Games against fiorentina and milan were also like that, we missed our chances, and then they have one fuckin chance, and they bury it. We need to find that controlled aggression again from last season, where we strike a team and then consolidate, it's a much more cunning and smarter way to play than this all out aggression we saw last night where teams just need to survive it and then deliver the final blow once we give it our all.
