As long as we make CL , Inzaghi should be safe.

Idk... After the 2 stars. To me personally, CL is way more important. But the effort is still inexcusable from the players.

It can be 65% CL 35% league. But not 90% CL, 10% league.

Inzaghi has proven he can turn things around - I have faith Inter will recover from the loss against beelan.

I used to hate his guts after the title loss against Milan. I was disgusted by him after the Napoli title winning season even tho we were playing a CL final. And then last year he managed this team with confidence and it showed.

I feel it's gonna be really difficult for him to keep everybody motivated and fit. I hope I am wrong, but it feels like an hangover season for Simone.

Players must take some responsibility, it's not always about motivation. We could agree that he has strange decision sometimes, whether it's on starting line-up or substitutions, but as much as he takes the blame for teams' slow start, players must be hold accountable as well. Most of them are still off.

I agree some of our players are underperforming. Is it fatigue ? Motivation ? Both? I dont know. But Mikhy, Pavard, Lauti for example have not been at their best lately..

Definitely... we got enough quality to replace these 3... but when Thuram is not performing too we dont have much choice between Arnau and Correa... 😭

He is linked to ManU apparently. Wouldnt really be surprised if he wanted a change to a place where he has transfer cash to work with.

I doubt that Man U makes sense for Inzaghi. He will have literally no impact on the transfers, but will take the blame for everything.

Transfers don't even matter as much as what kind of a rotten environment the club is. And it's not like Inzaghi could change the whole squad.

Here is what Capello said on Inzaghi and the Inter players before game 6 against Udinese.
I believe the Nerazzurri need to find themselves mentally: they need to rediscover the humility and desire they had. For example, what they showed in England against Manchester City in the Champions League: it was only seen 25 minutes against Milan. Inter’s main pitfall can be Inter themselves, but it’s something that can happen after winning a championship: the most important thing is to rediscover humility to start from scratch. The players who matter, and I’m referring to the leaders, at least until today in the league have become complacent.
as I said earlier it looks like an hangover season... That's the main reason for me. Players are less encline to do the same efforts.

Inzaghi’s rotation, then, is excessive: when he does it so massively, I think it creates a bit of confusion in the players’ heads. Agreed, Inter has a squad with two players in all roles and the coach must make it clear that they’re all valid, but there’s time. And so, maybe first get back on the main road, then make the appropriate detours
I would like to see more of Bisseck, Zelinski, Taremi and.... Frattesi ?

I don't want him to be the next meme. He's too good to be a meme. When you failed at utd automatically you'll be a big meme and laughing stock.

Still not playing to our potential, but at least Lautaro is getting back to his best.

Another game where we concede on the few chances our opponents get while we fail to put away a hundred. I’m not even sure this is entirely on him. Just laughable defensive errors.

I mean just break down how we concede, Bisseck went for the ball and gave a clearcut chance, Simone subbed him off immediately, second Hakan kicked someone in the box, I don't know man, it doesn't seem tactical errors, the thing he need to do though is make sure these guys are focus for the game, they all seem a bit complacent.

It is almost we have only 2 mode 100% and dominating, or just slacking and we are nobodies, nothing in between.

Inzaghi is a nice guy players coach type. He trusts his guys (especially his starters) to figure it out. And he puts zero fear in the players hearts. A side effect of that is from a mental perspective you can tell that the team under Inzaghi has had large periods under his management where they are unfocused.

So much of defense is concentration, discipline, and willingness to put in the extra effort. When the team is united and has made a pact like they did last season, or they are motivated by a champions league run they are going to run through a wall metaphorically.

When they’re coming off a historic Scudetto and they’re playing Monza, Genoa, Torino, or a Milan they’ve decimated 6 times in a row they just aren’t going to be as switched on. That’s just the truth under Inzaghi who is not a disciplinarian.

Would we play beautiful expansive football that works in knock out competitions under Conte? No. However, would we look this shaky defensively against smaller teams in the league under Conte? Also no.

Just to be clear, I’m not saying Conte is a better coach than Inzaghi or that I would want his whiney ass back here. But remember when Inter had secured the title and Lautaro was fucking around on the pitch Conte literally subbed him off after 15 minutes and berated him. That’s the personality that brings consistency in focus. Compare that to how we ended last year after sealing the Scudetto.

The team is going to need to find that motivation from within because ruling through fear like Sir Alex just isn’t part of Inzaghi’s character. He’s more of an Ancelotti, which also has its benefits.
