He is starting to become a world class coach. Squeezing the max of what he got.
When Atletico or Madrid or Liverpool need a new coach they will probably knock his door.
His progress is rally impressive. I hope we wouldn't lose him at least for the next couple of years.

I'm just glad we've settled into a system where we're not switching formations every game like the banter era.

This way the chaos stemming from the massive player turnovers is being mitigated to some extent.

It just occurred to me that he would look like Keanu with beard

Inzaghi goes to show what patience and trust -and not a lot of money to pay for dismissed managers- does for a football club.
In different times (Moratti era) Limone would have been fired a long time ago, but now he get's the chance to evolve and learn. We have seen glimpses of what Limone is capable of.
The way he set up his (inferior) team to Man City showed us that. And I was also impressed how the team turned things around last year when it was not going their way. This is also thanks to Limone's man management skills. Ofcourse I have no insight on how things are going on around Inter. Although I get the feeling the players enjoy playing for Limone.

If Limone keeps evolving and learning, winning prizes and competing in Europe. It would not surprise me if EPL or some tier 1 teams in Europe come calling.

Good to see some positivity around here. A bit early, but it works for me. He is a good coach and less of drama queen than Conte.

I was really pissed by him at one point of the last season, but he overachieved his targets with Lukaku missing for a almost whole season, Skriniar available only for the half and Brozo with a long absence as well.
We shall be more patient with him even if the season doesn't start very good for us.

Last year, media and some fans were dunking on him but something convinced me to keep my trust for him : The players stayed with him. Inter's locker was full of strong personnalities who could've turned against him, but they trusted him. A sign that tells more than any paper or talkshow.

And let's not forget how he moved toward the storm : with dignity, no whining, not running from his duties.

The Anti Conte.

Well, he does whine often in public, which is why he's affectionately called "Limone" :D

But yeah, we're lucky to have him at this stage, but we really need that Scudetto as well. Let's hope he has a team he can manage on all fronts this season!

I'm interested in how he uses the rotation this season. In the Monza game, all our midfielders played 90 minutes. I guess some of it was a message to Correa but I do hope he rotates the midfield properly, which does mean trusting in Asllani.

I still have no idea how he feels about Sensi. Just a hunch, but I don't think he has much trust in him. If this is the case, we need to bring in a midfielder he will trust more that can come off the bench and start where needed. Sensi is obviously better than Gagliardini but if he's not at his best physically, it's best to get rid of him. Even if it means bringing someone like Pereyra, I'm ok with it as he can still contribute.

I think this year is gonna be Cala-Aslani for sure, whenever Cala is not avaliable he will play Aslani.
Then 1 Barella 2 Miki 3 Fratessi rotating the 2 spots and Sensi as 6th midfielder like Gagliardini role

Sensi can play anywhere in the midfield, just a shame his legs can't.

The most important this is that we trust Inzaghi and gave him a better squad to work with.

i still think the attacking part in the team is weak, lauturo and others going in
2-5 games not scoring (provided that there are chances) and general mistakes from
goalkeep to midfield is playing a role, we still LACK atechincal player that can
change the closed games, and it has been like this since 2019 when conte arrived.
happened during his era and inzaghi, couple of games where player lacked being decisive
and mistakes here and there

Alexis and Sensi will help with the technical player that can change a closed game part.

Inzaghi mentioned in the pre-season conference that he wants a squad of 23 players and 3 Primavera players to train with the first team, I believe. Anyone know who those 3 players are expected to be? And who were the 3 last year, in addition to Carboni and Zanotti (I guess)?
