Took the blame for yesterday's loss, so the players will get some deflection of the blame. As for moviation Juve next in the Coppa, if players can't bring their "A" game it's solely on them IMHO.

I don't know what Inzaghi can do, when we miss open sitters left and right. Not supporting him, because of his inability to get away from 3-5-2, but yesterday, the score could have been easily 5:0. Lukaku had 3 chances, Miki one, Dumfries one. What is clear, The club should not even think to continue with Lukaku. He is done. for the salary he is making, thank you for your services. With Inzaghi, I would wait to see what happens with Benfica games. and top 4 situation. But firing him right now is not a solution.

He doesn’t give our mentally fragile locker room the belief they need and our tactics are not defensively sound. There’s just no way the relationship can continue beyond this season.

I would also like to see what happens with Benfica because I think he’s at least earned the right to play out the tournament, but it could also cost us top 4 in the process. There’s no great option here. If we get dismantled by Benfica in the first leg, we should absolutely relieve him of his post and get an interim manager focused on top 4.

This whole season has stunk of Spalletti's second year - players who know they might leave, Skriniar/Icardi parallel (please don't jump on this I know they're quite different situations), a manager who knows he won't be here at the end of the season.

I imagine we'll limp to the finish line like that season.

Since there is zero rumor about him getting sacked I'm gonna hope he somehow make the team put their shit together and play basic football right.
And I hope we get our injured players back ASAP, specially Skriniar so we don't have to endure Dumfries starting and playing like a Serie B player.

Just sack him already, before this season turns into total disaster.

Too late. We aren't making top 4. It'd already a disaster. We have such a tough fixture list too so need a miracle for a caretaker as well

Our only hope is Lautaro getting in form again and start scoring goals. That's it. Inzaghi won't change shit. Dzeko is done for the season and Lukaku can't even score tap-ins. Correa can only contribute in BBQ at Appiano. Barella is in the worst form of his career. And there's no one else we can get goals from.

I just looked at our stats since the Napoli game in January, and I think you're right. In those 12 games, Lautaro has scored in 6 of them. In the 6 games he did not score, we failed to score in 5 of them and only have scored 1 penalty goal in 6 games (Lukaku vs. Spezia).

As inconsistent as Lautaro is, the rest of our forwards (bar a November-December period from Dzeko) have contributed nothing this season.

Regarding Inzaghi's future, at first I was for giving him until the end of the season even with the bad results. However given the results this weekend, we have essentially fallen to 5th (head to head vs. Roma) or possibly 6th (Juventus penalty, although I think they finish above us even with -15).

Our next game is away against Salernitana, 3 days after we play away vs. Juventus. Given our performances against bottom table teams, I could see a loss/draw in that game as well. Since Paulo Sousa came in, most of their games are draws, although if they are to get their 2nd win with their new coach, it would be against us.

I also don't see Inzaghi trying anything different. Even Pioli has mixed things up when Milan were doing badly, but I don't think Inzaghi is capable of trying anything different. He will keep playing the same 'experienced' players no matter how poor they are.

I've mentioned it a few times, but why is Asllani getting so little time? I don't think saying 'he hasn't shown enough' is valid, because I think he has shown that he has talent and brings urgency to our play whenever he's given a chance.

Someone like Correa can be poor for years yet as soon as he's back fit, he's given a chance yet Bellanova, Asllani, and Carboni are given 5 minutes when the team is desperate and there is no movement from their teammates.

Even Pioli change formation when thing seem doesnt work anymore, but this bloke is tooo great to even tweak his beloved 352. Doing the same thing even thoug it doesnt work is madness.

Look at all the choices in coaches in the past 24hrs, Mr. " PowerPoint " Rodgers and Chelsea's own Mr. Potter, then there's always available Big Sam, Ranieri and Benitez.

Gazzetta is bombing with the alternatives.

If we lose to Juve tomorrow, I think the pressure will keep piling big time.

Gazzetta have also started reports about players complaints over the level of Inzaghi's coaching staff and their training methods but also about Inzaghi's squad hierarchies.

Did you guys know that Inzaghi is also at fault for COVID, global warming, and world war 2?

This is ridiculous. We should have won 4-1 on Saturday but the players are beyond shit and are being petulant pricks on top of it.

I want him out in the summer as much as anyone else but the media circus around him is actually pathetic.

Absolutely right, the easiest way is to hang all the dogs on Inzaghi, we have 4 absolutely zero forwards who can't score, I don't see the problem in tactics... To be fair, the judges also took away 6 points from us.

No you can blame IMF for all the above!!
Inzaghi has just lost the locker room and maybe confidence in himself

Don't have one.
For all the people mentioning our strikers, maybe the part of the reason lukaku is shit is that no one has the balls or authority to instill some discipline in him because he has a mentality of a petulant child, and he needs harsh guidance. Maybe the part of the reason dzeko didn't score for months is cos he was overplayed to death in the first half of the season.

It's easy to look at our problems in attack as some isolated cases of players just being shit, but you can also make a compelling argument in which a lot of our current problems in attack lead directly to inzaghi style of management.

In Serie A we are shit for 15 months now. It all started in January last year when we struggled to beat Empoli in the cup and Venezia, and drew Atalanta. Beginning of Feb we lost the derby, proceeded to be shit for whole two months until we regained form, but in April/May was too late plus then we lost the game in Bologna.

Then we proceeded to be shit this whole season in Serie A. Inzaghi was good for us in the league from August-December 2021 and that was it.

He priorities the cups and the CL. Giving your best in the CL is 100% correct but you can't treat Serie A as unimportant, it should be your priority. In the summer he said that his biggest regret last season was the second leg vs Liverpool when we didn't progress which is imo very arrogant.

He could've picked the loss at home vs Sassuolo as a regret for example when we were absolutely pathetic and if we only won that game of all the numerous games we dropped points, we'd won the league 2022. That would mean he accepted responsibility. But imo, he wanted to have a dig at Sanchez whom he disliked (for committing a red vs Liverpool) and completely ignore the choking of epic proportions in Serie A so that he avoids responsibility.
