This guy made Pioli and Spalletti scudetto winners.
I don't think this season's Napoli has anything to do with Inzaghi. Last season's Milan could be attributed to our meltdown, but Napoli has made themselves the Scudetto winners this season by themselves.

The issue with him is that he pre plans the game in his head and has all the subs already planned before a ball is kicked. It’s the only possible explanation for the constant nonsense we see.
This. His games are engraved in a stone unless someone gets a yellow.

This team is just is all over the place in terms of mentality and professionalism.

Obviously I don't expect us to win every match but I don't think it's too much to ask that we stick relatively close to the script of "beat the teams we're supposed to beat and compete against teams that'll give us a match."

Instead, we started the season by losing to every single one of our direct rivals in a pathetic display of beta-ness. At one point, our head-to-head record against Lazio, Milan, Roma and Juventus was Loss, Loss, Loss, Loss.

Now we're doing the exact opposite and performing well in the big games while hemorrhaging points against weaker opponents.

We've had 6 games against weak opponents this calendar year so far - Monza, Parma, Verona, Empoli, Cremonese, Samp. Not a single one of these 6 teams is in the top half of the table. 3 of them are in the relegation zone. 1 of them is in fucking Serie B. And yet, in these 6 games we've kept just 2 clean sheets, scored just 7 goals, conceded 5, and won only 3.

Its revealing that these shit games have directly followed wins against rivals. What should be a motivating, morale-boosting win to build upon, instead becomes a routine marker for an upcoming predictable capitulation. The only conclusion that can possibly be drawn from this is that the players themselves are simply just cunts while Limone himself can not motivate them to approach the small games with the necessary effort.

Getting top four, giving us exciting CL games and avoiding embarrassing results in the Coppa would easily give him another season, as it should. He should find ways to either motivate or replace his players though, or he won't survive the next season.

His inability to keep the team sharp is my only real gripe with him. He sets up the games well enough, the real problem is the constant and inevitable drop in focus and composure we experience on a consistent basis. I’m afraid that’s a thing that’s not so easily changed.

People are critiquing Players , yet they forget that two years ago we had
A winning coach called Conte
A defence with Skrinar dvrij bastonj
Midfield Hakimi barella Broz Eriksen Perisic
Att Lukaku Peak and Lautaro
Bench: SANCHEZ, VIDAL , ASHLEY YOUNG,DDA PEAK,
And Zhang investing
This year we have Acerbi,mikhitarian,Correa,LukakuFat,Inzaghi,
No hakimi,perisic,Sanchez,eriksen,lukakuPeak,dvrij anddddd CONTE

yet we arent satisfied with 2nd place

What kills me about Inzaghi is he is very close to being a top level manager. However his ability to motivate and inspire his players is virtually non existent.

He is tactically a phenomenal coach. Very rarely do we play a game where we’re vastly outplayed. However holy shit when we aren’t vs a top side and he actually has to fire the squad up he is atrocious.

Conte was an absolute master at man motivation. Players treated a game vs Cagliari like a derby. With Inzaghi you can physically see the lack of fire and frustration vs lower teams. I still have faith in him to win us the Coppa and potentially reach the QF of UCL. Hopefully he does.

If we miss top 4, he has to leave.

We are lucky that our rivals are worse than us. But in an extreme scenario of us missing out on Champions League football for next season, eventually sacking him would mean that we would bring in even a worse coach.

The only positive scenario which I could predict is that we try to remain competitive under Limone and escape out of this mess with a new ownership, and if Limone fails to deliver at expected results with the eventual new ownership that is willing to take Inter back to success, then we bring in a better coach meanwhile we are still a team that plays in CL.

Are you sure we have better squad than the rest ?
Yes. Jube maybe have better, but they are so behind, and this should be fair enough to compensate. Milan have like 3 players, who made their play, Theo, Girou and Leao + sometimes Tonali and Bennacer. Lazio and Roma are worse no doubt about it. And on the top of that, we need to get one of 3 spots to do it. There are no excuses if he fails.

I think we were plenty fired up in the first half last night. And generally we start the games with the right mindset, even against smaller clubs. The problem is the half time break, by that time the opponents have warmed up and the impression factor of facing a big club has disappeared plus they are employing a contingency plan for whatever we are doing. That's when Simone shits the bed, he doesn't adjust well on the fly, and of course like you said, he doesn't motivate the squad at that point at all. And this is not something you can change, you can't fake charisma and character. He is one of the boys instead of someone the players will yearn to impress like with Conte.

I feel like he has a very "fire and forget" approach to his management style. What he does up to the game start is what we'll get, then during the game itself its all up to the players.

The amount of poor crosses or cross attempts last night reminded me of prime "Spalletti Out" time during his time at Inter. Completely lacking any idea what to do other than cross cross cross.

Don't have one.

I don't know about that. I think overall that's his biggest issue. His starting setup is more often than not good enough, as you have said very rarely we get outplayed, but devil is in the details and often times we don't have one more higher gear to go cos we always start in the highest possible one.

And we have seen it last night, players instinctively know if we don't score at the early stages we will slowly but surely lose momentum, hence the frustration and arm flapping. It's one speed, one setup and if it doesn't work or the opposition coach changes something we regularly get in trouble. There is very little sophistication there, you have one solid and on the eye good-looking setup which has close to zero depth and variation to challenge for a league title and maintain a certain level of continuity.

Sadly he might be fired even if he reaches the top4. I really feel for the dude, on one hand his teams drop in form throughout the season, but he also does quite well in cup tournaments.
Hopefully his Inter wakes up and finishes the season on a high, because I'd like to see one more full year of Inzaghi, at least.

It does not matter who is coaching us when our owners are paupers.

As a club, Inter have done as well as they can hope for under Zhang's ownership.

We should not be satisfied with winning the Coppa Italia or the Super Copa but that is about as good as it is going to get until the club is sold. We have reached our ceiling and no self-respecting quality coach woud agree to coach Inter while the Zhangs are still owners.

I was suporting him, even after losing scudetto to Pioli. But no more, he had enough time to get to know his players, their abilities and how good/bad they fit in his Limoneball. When you put three slowest cbs with similiar characteristics in first 11 than my friend you are a fkn cowardish chickenshit fraud. It all starts from defence. Only two players improved under Limone:Hakan(and that was pure coincidence cause if Brozo stayed fit we would never see Hakan in that role) and mediocre trash Dimarco. All others decline. He needs to get big BIG result in CL to deserves staying here. Fuck him and fkn Coppa.
