We don't have the money to sack him or hire another guy, and there are no better options at this time. I don't see how is this possible anytime soon.

I forgot to mention the positives - Carboni and Asllani. I didn't expect to see the former at all. It was pleasant surprise, and I hope to see both of them more frequently. Anyway, we gonna fight for top 4 this season, not for the title.

are we really going that direction to top 4? i don't see that based on lastest results.
I see 6 teams that momentaly has better chance to end top 4 than us. beelan, napoli, atalanta, roma, lazio and even fkn rube. Thats how shitty we are.

Keep in mind what coaches are leading serie A right now, Pioli and Spalletti. We were all saying the same about them, loser mentality, lost the plot, stubborn etc etc. if you can’t back a coaches ideas/play style, they’re bound to fail.
Yeah to me looks like a structural problem that starts from the top. Could be in the same we lack a leader on the pitch, we also lack someone at top management level to steer the club in the right direction.

On the topic of leaders on the pitch, or lack thereof, something Lothar said a month back after a series of bad performances by Bayern: Right now there is no leader in the team who will lead the others in a difficult moment. There are a lot of talented performers in Bayern today, but when the game doesn't go well, things don't go well, there's not enough of a leader. A lot of people hide behind each other and look for a problem in the actions of their teammate

Can't say i see where Lothar was coming from given Bayern have Neuer, Kimmch and Muller, but his point 100% applies to inter.

Italian media have put forward the argument that Inter coach Simone Inzaghi had been overrated for taking over from the successful work of Antonio Conte but that now this effect is wearing off.
This might be true but everyone forgets how Conte nearly resigned after just one season at the club. Managing Inter is a tough beat for any coach.

I feel bad for him but his days are numbered. The locker room is gone and it’s not coming back under his leadership. Hopefully we can stay afloat until we can regroup but he won’t survive that long I’m afraid.

We need a rebuild and Inzaghi doesn’t have the character to be that guy. I was hoping Conte’s influence on the player’s mentality would have lasted longer, but we don’t have the leadership structure in place and everyone is standing around looking at each other. Handa starting is hurting us more because he’s the captain and everyone is staring around looking at him instead of using him as a point of reference.

There are a lot of internal locker room dynamics that need resolving immediately or else 4th place will get out of our reach quickly (it already is).

8 points from Napoli this early in the season….. i
Mean they will choke and not win the title but still this is fking pathetic

Our roster is not this bad especially with our wages…. The coach has to fking go. Promote the youth coach or the womens coach if we are broke.

I understand I'm likely in the minority here but I still gravitate towards keeping Inzaghi. I say this fully aware of the increasingly accelerating nosedive we find ourselves in.
Heat of the moment body language signs aside, our players have all backed Inzaghi in recent interviews, including Skriniar who was likely the most affected by the management drama. Current Inzaghi performance is well under his standard, even under his Lazio standard. I also understand that Inzaghi isn't the manager for Inter and should be replaced next season if a solution exists, but for the time being we will yield minimal improvement in locker room atmosphere when - and this is crucial - we haven't exhausted all available remaining options.

I would immediately go in ritiro and bench Handanovic. This alone will give more immediate effect over whatever C tier manager we can barely scrap to pay. If these measures fail to achieve the goal then and only then would I sack Inzaghi - next four or five matches would indicate everything.

I would keep him just in case if we are in process of owners change, and it would be ideal to get that done by winter mercato, then they can see where are we in fight for CL spot and react

gds saying Zhang gave the OK for Dybala, but Inzaghi rather chose Correa.

I know, i know, its gds and it could be bullshit, but Inzaghi is such a retarded moron that I think this is absolutely true.

of course it's true.. the fucking deal was done for months. For sure Lukaku came from nothing then, but Inzaghi never wanted to sell Correa.. so i believe it's true and even if this would not resolve our problems, we would have a great forward now. Just watch how Dybala is doing at Roma. Instead we have 2 piss poor strikers once Luka or Lautaro gets injured, Correa and Dzeko should play for teams like Verona, not Inter.

That sounds a lot like Inter management leaking "information" to media, to make themselves look better. At least it won't bother them even if they deny it and publicly show their support to the coach.

Idea is to set the narrative well beforehand, so when the sacking time comes, it all makes sense to just sack the coach. Only one scapegoat, who takes the blame.

And interestingly indeed, Correa didn't want to leave so it's a moot point. With Sanchez, it was possibly for us to "force" him out by just buying out his contract, with Correa that wasn't possible.

And, to make myself clear, I'm pretty sure sacking Inzaghi is our only option to save the season. But the reason for that is not this low-level BS media is running around but the cruel fact we cannot change our management or ownership to make any difference now and we cannot change our squad middle of the season. Only role which can make a difference from current situation is the coach and that's why he will get fired eventually.

But that will make also the management and the owner look a bit silly so they want to cover their asses. And the public narrative against the coach is perfect for them while in reality it all starts from the owner and comes down to the management and only then to the coach + players.

If he fails against Sassuolo they must sack him. If he stays till WC we will be too much behind 4th spot. This season is disaster so far. 4 defeats in 8 games. Scandalous.
