Juric leaves Verona cos the owner wasn’t reinforcing the squad only to go too Torino where the owner isn’t reinforcing the squad. He’s a solid manager as well. With a proper squad and an owner willing to spend, he could do some damage. He’ll probably have to leave Italy in order to find those things however.

I mean didn’t Conte do the same? To an even worst team with no chance at winning anything?

Spurs have already bought for Conte this year: Richarlison, Kulusevski, Bissouma, Perisic, Bentancur, Lenglet, Spence for about 160m total and I don't think they are done spending yet.

Conte doesn't seem the type to be worried about the "chances at winning" before joining the club, coz as long as he is backed by the owners Conte seems to have that confidence that he can create winners from scratch. Thats how he was at Juve, Chelsea & Inter, none of these teams looked like they would win when Conte joined. Spurs are a much bigger challenge for him, but only because the EPL top 2 are well established. I reckon that gap will be closed in a season or two if Spurs keep backing Conte.

In short, I can totally understand why Conte left Inter when Suning wanted to sell stars and earn money from the mercato. There was no future with this ownership. Spurs are at a lower starting point, but at least they are willing to invest to build a better future.

De ketelaere's salary will be about 2.2 mln, which is good, but the transfer fee is rumored to be 35+ mln, which is serious investment.

Real Madrid paid around 50M€ for Rodrigo and Vinicius each, coming from Brazilian dribble league. De Ketelaere is a similar talent, he's gonna explode soon, his numbers are already great.

Its gonna be truly tough scudetto race for anyone. Getting 2nd star will be very hard for both Milano teams.

Never watched De Ketelaere, but I’m always skeptical when some 21 year old is becoming the next so and so. Idk maybe the kid is a beast but it’s a lot to invest in a young player coming from Belgian league.

You gotta trust when everybody from Belgium is hyping him up.

De Ketelaere, Szoboszlai, Raphinha all ready for a bigger club (well, two of them just made the move to a bigger club). Him and Leao are gonna be fun to watch

Another one to watch out for is Šeško

Paqueta was also a big talent, but he didn't work well for Milan. There are no guaranties that De Ketelaere will become some super star, especially when only Leeds and Milan are after him.

Yeah that’s the other thing. Why are there not “big” clubs going after him if he’s so highly rated?

Hate Bruges, but the guy oozes class. Would compare him to a more offensive (young) De Bruyne, very intelligent on the ball.
