I’d go for a German keeper, maybe someone like Trapp. Excluding Karius they tend to be pretty good

Trapp is just a decent GK. There's a good reason he ended up back at Eintracht. I would rather go for Leno or even Gulacsi of Leipzig than Trapp. As for a German GK, after their golden generation the new guys don't seem to be at that level. Karius and Horn never lived up to the hype. From the youngest Nubel certainly was the best prospect but he ended up at Bayern. Muller of Mainz looks interesting but you can't really tell how good he is as they are one of the worst teams of the league. There's also the American guy who spent last season at Dusseldorf but he's owned by Man City.

Getting Leno is probably impossible unless something bad happens in Arsenal. They love him there.

And even then his worth is about 65m if I am not mistaken.

no way he is worth that much. On transfermarkt he's worth 32M and thats a fair price for him. There was a discussion if he'll even be their first GK for this season, but then they sold Martinez, who was last year on par with Leno or even better than him.

André Onana is the way to go if we want to splash money for a GK

I have enormous trust that whoever our management/scouts decide to replace Handa with will be very capable.

Top teams have Top GKs. Samir is great, but we should start looking for his replacement in the coming years.

We've started it already. Musso was rumored to us in the summer but they asked so much we couldn't commit yet.

Nailed it. Gulacsi is vastly underrated.
But as long as there are no voices around about Donnarumma extending his contract, he will be my biggest wish for next year.
Getting Donnarumma for free would solve everything there.

Donnarumma would probably expect a huge signing bonus plus agents fee. Also I feel like there have to be better options. Also for him, staying at Milan at this age is a better idea.

I think Raiola is asking for 15m agent fees so he wouldn't exactly be a free signing. From a sporting point of view, i don't think joining Inter would be a bad move for Donnarumma. Handanovic is 36 years old and in the twilight of his career. On the other hand, joining Juve would be a bad move for him as Szczesny is only 30 years old and at the top of his game.

No Dollarumma pls. One year of his service is three+ years of new Handanovics, not worth it for a goalkeeper.

Don't know why peole hype Donna's "young" factor that much. Ofc he has many years ahead of him. But why not buy a GK in his prime years, use him 5+ years, then buy a new one for 5+ years?

Despite his age, he has no resale value either, as the salary is too damn high to begin with.

Personally, I Hype him because He has over 200 Games in Serie A at age 21. That is Something Special, and He is proven. As for the resale Part, you don't buy a guy Like donnarumma as a Stop Gap. You buy him to build a legacy. He could have over ten years of success easy If He was to Join us. There are players you buy because of the quality and Not because they are profit Generating investments

Not a big fan of him, saw him doing too many fuckups. At this moment, still Handa>Donarumma. I admit that I don't watch Milan that often and I might be wrong, saying this based only on what I've seen so far.

donna has a lot of potential... he needs to grow a lot more and gain a lot more experience, but with the right coaching, he'll get there. career potential is mostly proportional to experience at a young age.

Donna won’t stay at us 10+ years. Raiola will get the salary pumped years after years, up to a point where we can’t afford it anymore and release him on free (simliar to Milan now; they develop him, sustain his mistakes, but can they “enjoy” his polish potential in far future?)

Donna is better than any young GKs at his age, but it doesn’t matter, I can easily find dozen of GKs better than him atm. In 5 years someone else will step up and we will buy such guys (not that difficult, if you watch Milan closely Donna doesn’t grow much after those 200 matches, strong reflex, less stupid mistakes, but still bad position and shitty foot ability). Why destroy the whole salary structure just to stick to one name?

Unlike other position, teams don’t build gameplay around GKs. Allocating 20m (and more, 30m+, 40m+?!? if stays that long) for a GK will reduce salary budget for other areas, which I am not favor.

The problem with Donnarumma is that he's already making more than what he deserves. I think he's on like 6+ mil at Milan? That's crazy.

He'll want 9-10mil/ season, which is insane. I can't see inter paying a goalkeeper more than 6-7mil.

I know it sounds weird but I'd rather get Dollarumma in like 4 years at least, he needs even more experience and it's hard to say if that will make him reach his upper potential. At Inter he will be expected to be a leader and help win titles, while at Milan there isn't the same pressure and that's a better setting for a 21year old.
