Does he want a starter spot? If no, we may offer him lower salary and few years more. I prefer him as a back up than Radu, Cordaz, Padelli or some other useless goalie.

Yeah that could work. Dunno if Samir himself really want to go to be a starter to a lower level club at this point of his career anymore. Just accept lower salary and stay here.

He did say he wants to be coaching when he ends playing, so perhaps he can stay as a gk coach.

a player coach 3rd spot. 2nd goalie is one to compete with the new #1 if we sell Onana.

I have read he needs to accept a backup role, a reduced salary and the fact we're going to have a new GK coach from next season if he wants to stay. The last one isn't really trivial as GKs don't like changes when they are used to working with a specific guy for years. For example, Neuer created a real mess at Bayern when Nagelsmann changed GK coach.

Why we gonna have new gk coach? I think this department is the only one, where we are doing pretty well overall.

He is one appearance away from making it into the top 10 of all time appearances for Inter. He'll get it against Fiorentina. He'll possibly get another one in the league so he's not tied with Cordoba.

After that,

The disrespect is unnecessary. I for one will always be grateful to him, there's no need to be ingrates.

Like we're all so respectful with Correa and Gagliardini? Screw that, I've never liked him and I'll breathe a huge sigh of relief when he's gone and I never have to worry about him "defending" our goal ever again.

For the past 2-3 years he‘s been complete garbage but to say never liked him is blasphemous

He was good in the second Conte season. Other than that, clearly in a sharp decline and still the same guy that is not really a winner by heart. He can be THE guy for a midtable club (which Inter was when he was at his best), but LGI he ain't

He had only like 2 finishes outside the top 5 at Inter and even the last 2 seasons at Udinese they finished 3rd and 4th. Wtf are u talking about?

I am sorry but if anyone really starts comparing Correa and Gagliardini to him, your opinion about football is irrelevant... On the end of the day Handa will go down as one of the greatest goalkeeperes in Serie A history and is without a doubt LGI material.

also, not his fault Inter didn't replace him when he declined.

His game today reminded me just how good Onana's distributing from the back is.

Brehme reading this like:

Now to properly lure him out, you got to overpraise Lukaku and say Mourinho is finished as a coach.
