Sometimes you just need that first goal to open the dam. We played decent game overall and conserved some energy. We had good chances before Toro's goal but were not clinical enough. Luckily Toro came in beast mode and won the match. The first goal was poetry .

Lautaro almost El Jardinero level super sub. This team is so very different with Mkhitaryan and Toro-Thuram.

We played on the edge in the first half, but great second half, especially since lautaro entered the game. It's worrisome a little bit how much we depend on him, but he was pretty much injury free in recent times, so we get that going for us.
Again that first half football shouldn't repeat, he needs to find a way to have more control when bench players are playing from the first minute. Even if he has to play more conservatively or have a more measured approach, so be it. If klasen can't give you what mkhi gives you, then change tactics a little bit, don't just change players and expect copy-paste performances.

10 years of FIFI agree, I actually think that's the best Asllani has played for us in official games. Looked much better than Hakan, for example, who seemed absolutely gassed.
Agoume should really be given more minutes he showed more in 5min then Klassaan have done in all his minutes combined.
Basically Martinez are the difference maker for us, without him we are really nothing to rave about, the fact he scored almost half our goals in serie A says everything.
I’m shocked how lethal he is, I knew he had unfulfilled potential but damn I didn’t see this coming. I don’t think I ever seen a player being subbed in and score 4 goals, it’s just insane.
We are also drastically better in midfield when Mkhitaryan is fresh and in form.
Hakan I’m on the verge of saying he should not play next game, his been absolutely abysmal in now some games in a row and make some incredible amateurish fuck ups.

- Pavard was so good, he fit the RCB position like a glove. Need to be a starter from now on. He provides the forward passes that Darmian lacks.
- I hope this is the last I see Acerbi on the left. It’s so painful to watch. Yes he might shut their right side although there were so much danger there, but the position becomes wasted because he cannot do overlap runs with the LWB, nor can he do long balls like Bastoni.
- De Vrij was comfortable in his positions and can always rotate with Acerbi for the center position.
- Thuram is a beast. Incredible run and assist, and that turn that won him the penalty was class. I’m sure this is not his best yet, far from it.
- Alexis looks finished, as I said in his thread I think he will be a total failure.
- The team overall lack confidence. I hate the amount of players who cannot make through passes, instead going for the back pass. Some players lack it, and some are just afraid to do so.
- The team has potential, but Scudetto isnt easy and I dont think we’ll go farther than Round or 16 in CL.

Firstly, "all of Klaassen's minutes combined" constitutes to one hour of football. Secondly, and most importantly, you're insane if you thought Klaassen had a bad game today. One misplaced pass but otherwise one of the few bright sparks in the first half and easily the best of the midfield trio.
My biggest gripe with the team is that it’s so incredibly frail, we have a good enough team, sure we could use some useful and better attacking subs and a more creative or at least more dangerous midfielder… We could certainly also use a coach with more tactical dept then a piece of paper and an actual plan B and one that was not so incredibly stubborn in how to approach things. Conte would fucking win the scudetto with this team, I have absolutely zero doubt about it because we would have that grinta we lack even when things don’t work. Yes Inzaghi ball is far funnier to watch when things work, but there just too much rollercoaster in our performance that it’s hard believing we can win anything, too inconsistent, too unpredictable. We go from playing like we can beat even City to playing like we are a relegation team, even in one game we can be so incredibly different in our performance, it’s freaking marvellous and a study worth on it’s own.
The difference right now are Martinez, without him in this form things would have been very, very different. Lucky for us he save our ass once more.

I don't agree about Alexis. I think he is far away from being in 90 minutes shape but you can see his class every touch + he has the grinta and always will chase, press and tackle the defenders. I think he had a decent 1st half and as long he gets playing time he will deliver eventually goals and assists.
Klaassen brought absolutely nothing it was just easy passes, easy solution he made absolutely no difference what so ever. Agoume at least had the lust to take risk, run etc.
Also the other with their absolutely abysmal In performance made him look better, because our midfield was garbage in first half, things first started to change when Mkhitaryan replaced him, and barella that been abysmal as a consequence started upping his game after Mkhitaryan entered it was like a transformation of the midfield compared to when klaassen played.
