Yeah, Suarez is ban for 4 months for bitting (people have been bitten by their lovers since Adam and Eva, nothing happens)
Wonder what the fine will be for killing people.

I keep reading of broken back or something... Broken back will mean his career is done, and possibly he wont be able to walk. So i really, really doubt it's "broken back". So, what's actually broken? Is he going to be ok in the future? I mean, i hate the guy and all, but he is very talented lad who can become one of the best.. :(

When they mean broken back Pajo, they mean he just fractured his vertebrae. Just like how broken leg means fractured tibia is most cases. Brazilian physio said he should be okay within a few weeks, but I think its still a very serious injury though.

Honestly, this is all the referee's fault. He didn't even caution Zuniga :palm:. He basically let players get away with everything.

Nah I know of a lot of people who have had this injury.. It could just be a small fracture in a certain bone or something.. I don't think this injury will keep him out for long (hopefully), he should be fit by the start of the season as the physio said it should take a few weeks .

haha you guys get a miracle and beat Argentina. Costa Rica will show you how its done :)

Still pissed about the refing this game. but better Neymar then James. Don't fuck with the Colombian #10 or someone else will get hurt. Uruguay knows this that is why we are one of the only teams they play clean against.... well clean by Uruguay standards.

The injury is the refs fault he let the game get way way way out of hand.

Well doesn't matter. Losing against Argentina is no shame whatsoever.

But wishing someone injured however is. In case you didn't noticed I was trolling about Neymar. Shame he'd miss the remainder of the WC because Zuniga felt to charge.

And why the hell wouldn't Brasil isolate James? You expect them to let him dribble and score and assist whenever he likes? It's sport. As far I saw, no one of Brasil did a coward foul on James. Nevertheless, Colombia did on Hulk and Neymar.

Pathetic attitude.

And maybe Costa Rica will show us how it is "done" for all I care. It'd mean we got a round further than Colombia did

"Or someone else will get hurt" :palm:

So that gives Zuniga the excuse to brutally knee Neymar's back?

Pathetic. Go whine

How on earth did Zuniga not get a red for that immediately? Instead he doesn't even get a yellow. No way that he thought that tackle was going to win him the ball. Pretty obviously a cynical foul meant only to stop Neymar.

But whatever, Brazil bought the refs so it's okay to destroy Neymar's back. Woohoo crzdcolombia....

Just like earlier games, even last night Brazil was favoured by the referee in most of occasions. Some of rubbish and inexistent fouls which won't let you play your game with the whistle after every 10 seconds. Of course Brazilian players dived like hell, and besides James got a yellow card for an inexistent challenge though

So basically they won't have available Thiago Silva and Neymar for the semis. Can't wait for them to get ass kicked by Germany!

Brazil has already won (bought) the WC anyway. Enough of the trolling, Crzd had has his punishment...

...the disallowed goal for Cololbia was actually a fine goal (though this wasn't really the refs fault, it was a retarded decision from the linesman), the FK with which Brazil scored 2-0 was in no way a FK... JC should have had a red, who gives a fuck if another player was behind him, he went in with his legs up to hurt the player fucking bad, that is deep red no matter what. Otherwise a keeper can bash in a skull as long as a teammate is behind him and still receive a yellow. Silva should have had around 5 yellows, so he should've been out early in the game.

On the other hand, Columbia should have had many more yellows and reds as well, so it does even up a little... and they did just play like shit. They absolutely lost deservedly, but still it's frightening how much ref help Brazil is receiving.

FIFA won't be able to pull this against Germany and whoever Brazil would play in the final without getting exposed and screwed, though.

I dont know man, just immagine how chile had win against brazil in the penaltys. Maybe this favours for Brazil is only against big teams. Dont forget too that Mexico shoulded win 4-0 against Kamerun and passing the group thanks to the goals at the first position

If Germany wins the WC... then i hope zuniga will be the most hated player in Serie A. Like this Son (of a..:troll:) from Korea at Perugia

Some of you guys need to get your heads out of your butts. How on earth the ref favored Brazil?! Yes, he had some mistakes, maybe should've given more cards early on but in no way he was favoring Brazil!

50 fouls before a yellow that should have been red. YOU CAN"T HIT THE KEEPER !!! Have you ever played soccer in your life !!!

Then the BS yellow to James that was somehow a Freekick !! The 1st goal was just retarded by our defense. After that the ref didn't have the balls to give Silva a yellow card because he would miss the Germany game. This lead to a very very violent game that got out of hand. He waited till the 2nd half and 50 fouls to give a yellow. By that point the game was way way too heated and he lost control. I am surprised more injuries didn't happen and these types of games shouldn't be occurring. Zuniga has already apologized and said he didn't go to injury Neymar which if you thought he did then your an idiot. No one wants to break someones leg or back. Zuniga basically missed the whole season last year because of injury. Def doesn't want to do that to someone else.

The injury to Neymar is 10000% the refs fault. I am not saying we could or should have beat Brazil but the ref should have let us play but not in a death match like we saw last night. And screw it if its a injured James or a Injured Neymar. I am very very happy it was that little queen Neymar. Admit it 90% of you thought he was faking it to buy time !

Forza Germany beat Brazil like its 1942

I just watched the ref analyzer.

There were 55 fouls which is very high for a game without extra times. He believed Zuniga deserved a yellow for kneeing Neymar. About the penalty, it was right 100% and Cesar deservedly got a yellow. The thing was the Colombian player kicked the ball to the left before getting tackled by Cesar. After kicking the ball, the ball was closer to Luiz and he could've easily recovered it.
Also Silva's yellow was 100% deserved.

Overall the ref had a very good game and he was given a rating 9 out of 10.

This is not me talking, this a professional international ref who has no ties with Fifa nor Brazil.

So my question for you is, have you ever played soccer in your life?!

For god sake your player kneed a Brazilian player and broke his back and didn't even get a yellow. If anything, Colombia were favored!

You had 12 men and still lost against Brazil

He said he didn't mean to injure him and I really believe him, because you got to be aware of the situation and harm you could cause to "mean" to do anything. He was actually running and jumping all over the place like a mindless fool even in the first half and that's the reason he unintentionally injured him. I am twice more shocked with the way Zuniga and Matuidi behaved on the pitch, how clueless they were about what they were doing and with the consequences of their idiocy than with what Suarez did.

It doesn't matter if it was intentional, it was a reckless foul that was not meant for and nowhere close to winning the ball. That's red-worthy. I agree the referee should've given Brazil more yellows, but the worst unpunished foul by far was Zuniga's. The referee made the right decision in only giving a yellow to JC and Silva.

That's red-worthy.

I think so too. In the context of the World Cup the criteria what should and shouldn't be a red card offence fluctuated pretty much and I think that's confusing for everyone, referees included. Marchisio got a red card for what could be seen as a kiss compared to what Matuidi did to Onazi or now, Zuniga to Neymar.

What doesn't help is the fact some players learn how to avoid detection, with the help of coaches or on their own. I remember hearing about a book a footballer wrote, I think it was Roy Keane, not sure, about how he intentionally injured players and how he manged to do it and why.
