I hope Spalletti out of the blue decides to play 3-5-2 with our players playing in their usual positions and Scamacca - Retegui as a duo of strikers. But we all know it's not gonna happen

Let's go Italy! Blood and tears to draw against Croatia with a beautiful goal from Zaccagni. Let's hope Italy snitches a win against Swiss.

Not sure Italia could survive this one onto PK's. Such a disappointing display in this tournament. Swiss doesn't have that prestige and quality on paper, but they are tough to break, as usual.

smells like penalties and a Donnarumma masterclass
fixed

it's anyway our only hope. Maybe we will do a croatia and win all games in the penaltys

Yakin has gotten the selection right in each match so far, for me, so I am curious how he sets up vs the Azzurri - even though he is certain to play 3-4-1-2

Embolo didn’t start the tournament due to returning from injury so he will be limited to no more than an hour play - will it be beginning or later is only question. Ndoye won’t likely be a doubt, a revelation for La Nati he is certain to start at LW or even as a #9

Schär does not inspire confidence despite being paired with the supremely reliable Akanji - he always has an inexplicable error looming. Rodriguez at LB and they’ll basically play a back 3 with two wing backs - Vargas & Widmer perhaps? Xhaka & Freuler perhaps in middle of park and Sommer in goal

I think the Suisse are playing well, lacking clinical finishing but this is the plight of most NTs. They are not polished yet but there are real attacking gems to punish in counters

It’ll be a tight affair but 1-0 🇨🇭

If Italy is going to go through, they need to play best game they've played all tournament. Switzerland is looking good and progressing to the Qtr-final while knocking out defending champs I'm sure is giving them extra motivation.

Goddam, thank goodness for Zaccagni's goal, Italy would have been eliminated otherwise.

I think this is the toughest game Italy will face before reaching the final.
If they win here, it's hard seeing past them advancing to the final.

England won't be easy but it won't be as tricky as this one.

Hopefully Italy. But it feels like the Swiss will go through on penalties.

Will unfortunately (or fortunately, based on recent performances) miss this one. I agree with brehme, if we go through here then we’re reaching the final.
